Wouldn't hurt to try. Still can't give you a definite answer without a model number.

this shit is why I'll never buy anything razor
even if it works they make it look like it's "The wheel".
I've been using Iobit's gamebooster for a few years, a partnership with Razer could be interesting.
I may not agree with their marketing tactics, but their products are usually great.

That is pretty much a recolored clone of Game Booster 3 from IOBit. Jesus christ.

Actually it's a recolored version of game booster 3.5, which means a couple more features. xD
I'm betting money everyone bashing razer products has never used one in their entire life. I have a razer keyboard/mouse/headset and I am damn happy with my purchases. I used to use a shitty keyboard / plantronic headset / logitech G5 combo for a long time. Despite I treated my gaming gear with absolute care they'd break into pieces within a span of 6 months from heavy usage. The laser in my G5 would always shit out in about 6 months, sometimes buttons would break. My plantronics headsets must've been made from the cheapest plastic in the world, I WOULD NOT EVEN BEND THE HEADSET TO FIT OVER MY HEAD, I'D SLIDE IT AROUND MY NECK AND THE PLASTIC WOULD BREAK AND SNAP OVER TIME. The plantronics headset also would have the bass shit out after heavy useage of listening to music and gaming. The keyboards I had would have keys come off or have the letters wear down / buttons break.
The razer products I've had has worked just as good as they had straight out of the box, Day 1. I just cleaned my keyboard the other day and it feels brand new. Say what you want about Razer products (their tablets and shit are super gimmicky, I can agree on that) but they are DURABLE and they LAST. To me, that's the most important thing in the world. My keyboard/mouse/headset have been working flawlessly for almost two years now.
Pfft, yeah no. I've gone through a couple DeathAdders over a single year and my buddy broke his $80 Razer mouse that my hand just couldn't use. I bought a G500 2 years ago and have made my point to treat it as if I cared very little about it, half the fiber sheathing has been torn away and I just took a lighter to it because it was annoying.
I bought an original G15 around when I bought the Deathadder back in 08 or 09 or something, still worked like the day I got it despite a little paint wearing off and being hit against things to clean the stuff out of it and for some reason thinking it's a table with food finding it's way into it all the time. I passed it off to a buddy and bought a G110 when I got my G500 and both with a little cleaning both look and work brand new. Unlike the Deathadder which would get some nasty build up from your hands absolutely everywhere unlike any mouse I've ever used and the plastic slider feet would fall off along with the mouse slightly discoloring.
My Razer products always broke, the fucking left click broke on one because it's a flimsy piece of plastic about a 1/8th the size of a micro sd and the side buttons simply stopped working on the first. I treated these mice the nicest of any I've ever owned and simply using them would break them.
The G5 had a batch of mice which had some defective lasers, Logitech will normally send you a brand new item free of charge if you mention that you had a item which has been known to have pretty much any defective units. That's really your own stupidity for not calling them up and spending 5 minutes saying that your shit's broke. Logitech has been known to be so trusting of their own damn customers that they'll often send units out to people who don't actually even own the product because they called in to say that they had a defective one.
I'd like to see Razer ever do that, let alone give a single fuck that their product broke.
Well, I guess it's pretty nice on laptops where memory management is more of a problem. On the plus side, it can be set to automatically 'boast' when loading games, which I kinda like.
It'll automatically boast about how it can boost your speed, without actually boosting it
Satellite P755
If you don't mind playing on low with no AA then you might get decent FPS
I hate to be the idiot in this thread but I have never heard of game boosters before this thread and having to struggle to play games on a laptop it sounds promising. Can someone recommend me a good program to try out?

Game Booster 3 or 3.5. It's free with no bullshit like pestering you to pay or boost limits from what I have used from it.
I've tried Game Booster before.
It almost destroyed my system by disabling a lot of my rather important processes. When I had it on, Explorer kept crashing (yes, crashing, not just closing), DLLs refused to work, and I couldn't hibernate or sleep my machine without it being unable to turn back on properly.
That shit is horrible on my current Desktop. It all went back to normal after I un-installed it.
However...
When I used the same program when I was stuck with Windows XP on an eMachine playing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Multi-Player, the aforementioned program did make a bit of difference by shutting down the printer spoolers and other services I didn't need for me. It sped up the game by about 25% to 50% more FPS.
But honestly, on my gaming rig, the difference is too small.
Why all the disagreeing? I'm just saying what happened on my systems.

Fuck razer.
Turbo buttons are all the boost I need.
I never had any problems with it. It just turned off stuff, nothing crashed or burned, and my computer lived to run another day.
The program only temporarily disables non essential processes and programs. Nothing important unless you configured it to do so.

The Razer keyboard I owned was crap. I hated it. The touch media controls were unresponsive and only liked to work when they felt like it. The raisers to adjust the height of the keyboard broke after only a few days and the keys "non slip" coating wore off easy.
Replaced the shitty thing with a Microsoft Sidewinder X6. No dodgy touch controls as it uses actual fucking buttons and dials. I doesn't have raisers that can break. No useless "non stick" coating that doesn't actually work as well as they claim to wear off in a few week time. And as an added bonus I can detach the number pad and have it on either side of the keyboard. Oh, and it was cheaper.
Razer is overpriced.

Shit, I had to run over my G110 with my deskchair to break ONE of the keyboard props.
These "game boosting" programs never worked for me, most likely because they're bullshit
only super low end hardware
it's mostly a ram thing too
razer's keyboards and mice aren't that bad but their headsets are pretty shitty and they just seem like a shitty company

well Razer's keyboards are by default better than Logitech's since Logitech is like the only PC Enthusiast/gamer/ hardware maker that doesn't use mechanical keyboards yet, like serious what?

I like Filcos and Leopolds and all those fancy keyboards and Logitech mouses are godtier.
They make good headsets too.
Every Razer product I own, which is about 6 of them are all in perfect working order. Except for my copperhead's scroll wheel, which broke once but I repaired it.
Game Booster 3 or 3.5. It's free with no bullshit like pestering you to pay or boost limits from what I have used from it.
I really don't know if its working or I'm imagining it. When I play WoW I get about he same frame rate but it seems just smoother with it on.
I have two razer products, and three logitech products. My two razer ones are working fine (Blackwidow mechanical keyboard, Razer Tiamat 7.1 - Gift to me), and two of my three logitech products are breaking down or broken.... I think that might say something about quality. But honestly, I really like Logitech and Razer stuff about equal.
And this gamebooster thing, it's good for some people, I don't use it personally, but it's not bad. If they add more features to it, I see no problem with them doing so.
Owned both logitech and razer stuff myself.
I love both equally functionality wise, but I love my deathadder to bits.
Razer products have always been a little bit more comfortable for me to use, and because of that I stick to them. (just the mice though, no headsets or keyboards for me.)
I like Filcos and Leopolds and all those fancy keyboards and Logitech mouses are godtier.

yeah Filco and Leopold are probably the best keyboard brands
To me most of Razer's stuff seems a bit gimmicky. I'm fine with my crappy little logitech keyboard. I've probably hit it about 10 times to the point of keys flying off and its still works perfectly. I've had my mouse forever, it's fine. I'd rather just buy cheap keyboards and mice that break every once in awhile than buy a weird ass keyboard for 100 dollars and have it break in a year or 2.

the g13 keyboard is amazing, and I won't let anything change my mind about that. Because I can set all my weapons to the thumb stick for instant swapping :U and bunny hop and all that.
I mean, once I buy a g600, with a g13 and g510, I'll have one program to easily control buttons very efficiently, which very good macros too. the g600 looks way better than the naga, plus with g-shift has to be.
Haven't really used mechanical keyboards, though. They sound really nice.
well Game Booster 3.5 actually makes skyrim playable for me so I nothing bad can really come from this
