Sony breached contract
I'm pretty sure it was in the first EULA that they could change the terms whenever I want. Sad but true.
Tim, please get this thinking out of your mind, this is why you're so biased, you think it's hard not to be and normal, when it's extremely easy. For example, I own a PS3 and like it more than a 360, but that is because I find it more suiting to me, however I respect the opinion of 360 users and how they like it more.
Fuck off, stop referring to me by my real name and trying to go out of your way to disagree with me. It's fucking creepy. [editline]04:20PM[/editline] I don't care if it's just coincidental, stop referring to me as my first name.
Fuck off, stop referring to me by my real name and trying to go out of your way to disagree with me. It's fucking creepy.
I wasn't going out of my way, I was simply reading the thread and saw your post, I'm wondering though why you won't rebuke my statement.
Because you're just disagreeing to disagree with me
Because you're just disagreeing to disagree with me
What, I'm disagreeing with you because you have a fucked up way of thinking.

SERVICES AND UPDATES From time to time, SCE may provide certain updates, upgrades or services to your PS3™ system to ensure it is functioning properly in accordance with SCE guidelines. Some services may be provided automatically without notice when you sign onto SCE's online network, and others may be available to you through SCE's website or authorized channels. Without limitation, services may include the provision of the latest update or download of new release that may include security patches, and new or revised settings and features which may prevent access to pirated games, or use of unauthorized hardware or software in connection with the PS3™ system. Some services may change your current settings, cause a loss of data or content, or cause some loss of functionality.
What, I'm disagreeing with you because you have a fucked up way of thinking.
Because I think it's hard to not be biased or devoted to something? Wow, you must be mentally deficient.
EULAs always say they can change the terms and conditions anytime they want.
Because I think it's hard to not be biased or devoted to something? Wow, you must be mentally deficient.
Yeah, for a normal person it is, but you're such an angsty teenager with bipolar it's obvious you can't help but but biased/devoted to everything, and then think it's "normal".
Why would it matter, you're not playing any games...
Hello, gentlemen. I am a twelve year old, and I represent everyone in this thread. Now if you excuse me, I will now ask a Super Nintendo forum how to play Runescape on an xbox. Oneoneoneoneone.

You just answered your own question. Sony is forcing everyone to use the same version of the system software exactly like how everyone else forces people to use the same version of their software to play online so nobody should be bitching at Sony. This never had anything to do with Linux, you just pulled that out of your ass to argue with me, or you simply misread the thread.
:downs: You're just very misinformed. The new firmware will disable the ability to install another OS, the most common type of OS installed is linux. This kills the ability for people to install linux, most likely for security and balance reasons.
If you don't want new firmware, don't connect to the internet. Simple as that.
Boo fucking hoo. So what you can't choose to stay behind firmware wise? What does that grant you, MAYBE being able to hack it? Stay with the times. Who gives a shit if it auto updates. More time saved.
Just move on and forget about it, why is this so hard for people to do.
Hey, when Garry's Mod gets an update, you either have to update it, or else you can't play on any server that isn't updated. I don't really see how this is any different, apart from the whole updates are accepted automatically.
That has to do with class tables or some shit. Garry isn't making you upgrade Windows or anything.
Yeah, for a normal person it is, but you're such an angsty teenager with bipolar it's obvious you can't help but but biased/devoted to everything, and then think it's "normal".
Is nobody going to laugh at this post that was obviously written by a hypocritical idiot?
"yeahhhhh im such a rebel, fuck microsoft" Xbox360 online is better than Ps3 online, and don't try to deny it. The lag is unbelievable for certain games. "lol holycrusade ur internt just sucks" Stop being such a fanboy and face the facts.
I have both, I had more problems with XBL than PSN, for one, I got some MS points, and they charged me twice. I bought games on the PS Store, No problems. Also, Lag? I never had it, You must not of played a PS3, or have on a shitty internet connection.
I don't see why people just don't read the EULA/TOS/Code of Conduct. You find many interesting things that you all the sudden agree too by clicking on that "I agree" then "next" button.
lol console gamers
I was kinda freaking out when the emailed me the changes to the EULA, but I (Like most consumers) was searching for a TL;DR. [editline]06:11PM[/editline] Just read the EULA, this part scares me. Alot.
Additionally, you may not be able to view your own content if it includes or displays content that is protected by authentication technology. Some services may change your current settings, cause a loss of data or content, or cause some loss of functionality. It is recommended that you regularly back up any data on the hard disk that is of a type that can be backed up.
So that means they can legally go and screw over our PS3 hard drives if they feel like it.
Just because they're protecting themselves from that stuff doesn't mean they'll do it.
Real gamers own all the systems Like I do :smug:
