There is always something comforting about character actors. Just seeing a familiar face but not really knowing their name.

Looking back at all the movies there are bits and pieces that worked really well: J.K. Simmons is perfect for JJJ Willem Dafoe could have been great GG but his design was poor Alfred Molina was also a very good Doc Ock The soundtrack was amazing Now the Amazing movies did only few things that I think improved over Raimi's movies: Web-shooters. Although they only run out of web in the comics when the plot needs it they are great way to show Peter's smarts. Unfortunately in TAS I think they explain how Peter gets his web fluid is stealing (maybe even online ordering) it from Oscorp? The costume from TAS2. The bigger eyes and slender body are my ideal Spidey look. Finally I think Garfield is better Spidey but only that. Even if J.K. returned I doubt it would save the movie. After the two TAS movies I have no faith in Sony making a really good one. Some of the backstories aren't looking good. I hope a miracle happens and Marvel gets the rights back.

I still remember that part of portal 2 when Cave Johnson went crazy about that part with the lemons. J.K. Simmons basically changed to Jonah Jameson at that moment.
