One confirmed death, 346 homes lost. Containment is at 15%
about 90% of my family lives in CO springs. parents are from there too. just hope it doesnt spread much more.

So the star is my house, and the circles are fires that still pose the most threat. The left hill is nearly burned through so that's not an issue. We need to to not go through the valley down into the neighborhood.

My work was a last stand location for the fire yesterday so I know that will be around, however until they can get HAZMAT through the building for safety concerns, I am still unable to get to my house.
My brother's out near Fort Collins. He had to get an escort from firefighters to a wolf sanctuary where he works so he could save some of the wolves.
All the pictures he sends me look terrifying.
Here's a map of all the Colorado fires:

Fires on a national level. You can really see how far the smoke has drifted.

Just checked my area, the fires seem to be all out along the front range. Good chance I get to go back on Sunday.
OH MY GOD YES
I heard that it was very close to reaching Boulder, Colorado, I hope it doesn't. This summer has been horribly dry, hasn't rained for 29 days. If a fire happened near our town, it could easily cause a forest fire, scary shit.
