I'm not American and I'm not trying to provoke any flame wars here but I just wanted to say it's really fun to see people on the internet be so scared of Trump
Donald Trump has turned the whole republican party and US politics along with it into a sad joke
Alright, my two cents on the matter.
They've been a sad joke for a while, mate. When you look at the pile of manure that is politics, you'll see that he's not the animal that made it but rather a strange toupée-d fungus growing on it. He's a symptom, not the cause.
And the reason why you see so many people supporting him, it's because they know he's one crazy-ass shit-eating mushroom. The worthy spawn of years and years of piled up bullshit.
And people see both Democrats and Republicans absolutely losing their shit at the thought of him winning, they see Dems and the GOP looking at their dung-encrusted hands and muttering "where did everything go so wrong". His emissions have built up into a significant breeze, and they're downright terrified of their card castles collapsing. And people have noticed that.
You're right when you say Sanders was the president America needed, too bad the DNC and most left-leaning media (CNN et al) are doing their best to push Hillary as their new lord and savior, making sure Bernie's gone and forgotten, the state of affairs is cemented, and the routine of the latest decades will go on unperturbed.
And people noticed that too, especially Bernie's most enthusiast supporters. They were hoping for him to bring about a welcome change, a well-deserved kick to the bottom of the status quo and the ones who wish to uphold it, and now that they're losing hope they're turning to the closest thing they can find, even if it's an old boot that got fished up from some sewers.
So now you know why Trump is so popular, why so many Sanders fans say they'd vote anyone other than Clinton, and why every time someone tells you "If you supported Bernie, then you should vote for Hillary!" you should retort with "go fuck yourself".
Also,
It's time to come together and #DumpTrump so we
Please stop that, this isn't twitter.
I highly doubt anybody on the Republican side is going to be the winner of the national election.
Attacking a woman that has a history of depression in recent years. Good job Trump...
And this Mook wants to be head of diplomatic relations for the United States. Ha.
I can't believe trump didn't take this opportunity to uncover Ted Cruz as the zodiac killer
Cruz in beast mode.

Trump has reawoken the Zodiac Killer in Ted
American Politics.....what a fucking joke.
I'd laugh if it wasn't so scary the fact this moron will be in charge of the country.
Donald Trump has turned the whole republican party and US politics along with it into a sad joke. Instead of focusing on the real issues he likes to play bullshit games just like this, it's childish and insulting to anybody who actually gives a shit about real problems. This election is getting ridiculous and it's time for him to get the fuck out of politics because he doesn't belong anywhere near them. It's time to come together and #DumpTrump so we can start to rebuild from all the intolerance and ignorance that he's been promoting and finally focus on the things that actually matter like making sure that all of our people are healthy and educated or effectively combating climate change because it's fracking real and it's ignorant as fuck to deny it. And this asshole actually wants to cut EPA and Common Core? Is he fucking serious?! This isn't some reality TV show, this is real life and his actions have serious consequences that could potentially lead to the end of life as we know it. The fact that he might actually become president is absolutely terrifying, I've had anxiety attacks and lost quite a bit of sleep over worrying about what kind of future is ahead of us and what kind of lives our future generations are going to have if he wins. I'd love to be able to settle down and have a family of my own but I refuse to bring new life into a world where they won't have every opportunity to succeed and thrive because we're destroying our planet over our greed for money and power.
I'm really fucking scared guys. I believe this is the most important election that we've ever had and right now our choices are between 2 almost equally terrible candidates that can't be trusted and that's really fucking sad considering that we have probably the most honest guy that's ran for president since Lincoln, who's been fighting for all of our rights almost his entire life. We have a man who can't be bought by anybody and sincerely want's to give the power back to the people and make sure that they have every opportunity to succeed in life, and he might not even get a chance to because the majority of Americans are ignorant...
This shit along with everything else that's been going on has got me cynical. We've got to start a movement and turn this shit around people. We need Bernie Sanders in office so we can finally end the corruption and do what's right for humanity and actually leave this world better then we found it, which with any luck will be free from intolerant and ignorant people like Trump. #DumpTrump
I think you're overreacting a bit.
For one, the president doesn't have dictatorial powers to do anything he wants, Congress has most of the control of the government. I'm confident that both the GOP and the Dems will probably unite against a President Trump.
But I'm also confident that the American people won't actually vote Trump into office, regardless of who his opponents may be.
And beyond that, the US will survive 4 years as him in the lead. It'll be rocky, it'll be rough, but we'll survive. The US won't disintegrate due to him becoming President, however shitty it may be.
You think congress would play along with trump?
I don't, but I'm wondering if Trump won't issue executive orders or generally do stupid shit.
I don't see why people keep calling this picture lewd when you can't even see her ass. Trump's not in the picture.

so everything bush did was congress' fault?
If you really thought everything about the economy under Bush was his fault you must be delusional and bought into the dems "It was the big bad Republicans fault!!!"
To start, the democrats were in control of the federal housing agency and wanted to get as many people into homes as possible on loans they couldn't afford and make them nigger rich. The Bush Administration warned against this and told them they needed to regulate housing or else it will crash. They didn't and look what happened. Of course you could be sarcastic right now and I don't even know it.
Adding to what Aftermath said about the growing cynicism among young people, I can't help but see this election as a catalyst for disillusionment on a scale unseen since World War I.
But I'm probably overestimating the intelligence of the average American Millenial in my haste to find a connection to a similiar historical topic...
Either way, with as cynical as I am about the quality of life I'll live in general, I can only imagine how much worse my pessimistic attitude will get if my analysis turns out to be accurate.
Hold on, this is supposed to make me not vote Trump?
No, it's supposed to make Mormons not vote for Trump.
Millennials can't vote yet though
Millennials are people born from early 80s to late 90s
In other words, almost all Millennials are old enough to vote.
Ted Cruz talking about how shameful Trump is going into the gutter when he's been lying, back stabbing and being shady just to get an edge. Like saying Carson dropped out, switch your votes to me and shit like that.
This is like reality TV. Non scripted reality TV. Amazing
It doesn't matter who's president, the country would function the exact same without one. Let's just enjoy this ride. This beautiful ride

I should start second guessing my understanding of English, I take that back.

I wasn't even talking about the economy...
I was referring to the iraq war, foreign policy, Hurricane Katrina. Things that the president of the united states has a good amount of control over.

Hurricane Katrina is the only one solely on the president's shoulders.
Congress continiously funded the Iraqi War and voted for it to happen, the president didn't decide to just send troops over there without asking.
While the president is our #1 diplomat, the Senate has heavy control over a lot of foreign relations, including passing treaties and trade deals with other nations. The president can say "we hate that country" all he wants, but the Senate can essentially counteract that.
Congress has a lot more power than people think; everyone believes the President of the US is the be-all-end-all of the government when in fact he's really just the face of it and not much more.

How is Katrina on his shoulders? The massive 600+ report made on the topic put blame, at most, on some of his advisors.

His advisers are his cabinet and answer to him. It's under his branch of the government.
