What the hell it was between Tampa/St Petersburg FL and Kansas City last time, now we're not even on the expanded list? That's some crap right there. I need me some superfast downloads damnit
I bet you if google secretly emailed like 20 people each from two towns and said "fight to the death, winner gets google fiber" they'd do it without hesitation :v:

I wish they would bring it to Southern California. I'd switch from Time Warner in an instant.

Yes, thank you my Google overlords for gracing us with your presence in Atlanta. We shall lay Roses at your feet when you visit our city.
I hope I can get my internet from Atlanta! [sp]North west Alabama, :([/sp] [editline]19th February 2014[/editline]
Consider yourself lucky. Ostensibly my DSL bill is only about 75 a month(For an alleged 10 down 1 up), but by the time ATT's done with fees and bullshit it's nearing 200. They'll accept about 120 a month but it's still outrageous. And they're my only option. Wosrt part is? That 10mb down 1mb up line that they charge 75 bucks for actually ends up being.... It's good enough to watch 360p youtube videos and play games online but that's about it. 9/10ths of our telecommunications infrastructure is copper wire built in the days of rotary phones. If Google fiber can be installed here it can be installed there.
Oh wow I feel for you, Bellsouth is shitty as fuck.
Google just announced that it's invited cities in nine metro areas across the US to explore "what it would take" to bring its Google Fiber gigabit internet service to more locations.
Google is such acool company
FUCKING CHICAGO COME ON
Screw everyone hating on my native born city, I still live here, San Antonio forever! But I'm rejoicing because of this, thank you Google. Once they come around I can finally get TWC off my back and never remember them for the rest of my life.
We fucking need this in Australia asap
nah our NBN money sho0d be used 4 stopping boats not enabling acces to evil child corrupting porn!
I live in Maine and live out of Portland. (Our city, you other Portland bastards stole it from us) so the chances of getting Google Fiber is incredibly doubtful. Such a shame.
Hey, more Maine FP brothers! Sometimes I think I'm the only one :( They just need to roll out google fiber faster...
I'll forgive G+ if they keep expanding and make ISP's angry.
san jose yaay
Chicago is sad
Wellington pls google
Please do Australia next. I miss talking to my friends :c
Honestly, this looks like a very strategic spread of launching points... You've got a lot of major cities in the Southeast, some major cities in the midwest, some major cities out west. If they spread exponentially, they could probably cover the entire country in less than a decade.
I'm a dutch citizen but when will you guys get it in New York?
