Come on, bring that brilliant plan to the Morgan Hill/Gilroy area(most hopefully Morgan Hill), that would be most amazing.
BRB dropping everything and moving to Portland.
So close yet so far.
To be entirely fair, biological immortality's the target to aim for. You can't exactly transfer your consciousness, a la Singularity. You can copy it and delete the original, but you would die and your cloned consciousness would go on living. You are your brain, after all.
A singularity with consciousness upload would be the complete suicide of the Human race, to be replaced by a reasonable facsimile of virtual humanity. That said, it could be a cool thing for end-of-life patients, to have their brain scanned before they passed so their family could still interact with that person... In a sense, at least.
Google's aiming for biological immortality, yeah.
google pls bring this to literally everywhere
Fairfax Virginia please, we're kinda where a lot of internet development happened
uk pls
as much as i'd kill for it, i'm happy the yanksies are getting less fucked in the ass. the internet situation over there is so shitty.
I got excited when I saw something in the Pacific Northwest but then it wasn't Seattle
I got so happy to see San Jose on there that we might get Google Fiber but then I checked their site. Seems to be completely opposite side of the city from me. :(
God damnit I used to live in Nashville and if I still did I'd be getting Google Fiber? Fucking shit. I'm moving back
I will offer my firstborn for Google Fiber in Toronto.
Can you just give it to Rhode Island? I mean we're pretty much the size of a city.
Can confirm this...and the hobo is an asshole
Show us on the can of beans where he touched you.
I live in San Marcos. Google Fiber 30 minutes North and South of me, and I'm stuck with TWC.
San Antonio? I can understand Austin, but screw San Antonio. It should be Houston who's getting Google Fiber.
It's mostly because their mayor has made a big push for it.

I live just south of Atlanta, I wonder if I will be able to get it.
Goddamn Google, don't let San Jose hog it, Southern California needs some love too
Nevada needs it too :C
It feels incredible to be in a relevant enough city to get this.
Google Fiber desperately needs to move to rural Arkansas.
My family that lives there, along with others, has to deal with only one internet provider that has ridiculously priced DSL only slightly higher quality than Dial-up. Really fucks with budgets.
ATLANTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Indeed. I live so close to Decatur, but who knows how long it will take to get here and how much $ Comcrap will throw to stop it.
I may be willing to move to phoenix
I'm moving to San Jose in just a week. I think I feel a tingle downstairs.
