I was on the phone straight away to Xsolla when I read that.

I remember this guy posted this stuff on /v/ about a week or two ago with the same exact proof you did, somebody in the thread then debunked it by linking to a thread that was posted several weeks before that saying the same exact thing before any of the forum ban shit took place, needless to say while the thread argued with itself OP bailed out and we never heard from him again. After that experience I'm just gonna take this as just yet another rumor especially since Forum moderators know very little about what goes on in actual development. Overall I'm enjoying my purchase and I'm having more fun with War Z than Day Z but hey that' s just personal preference speaking.

Hammerpoint was using another company to process the payments, then they switched to Xsolla, how is it Xsolla's fault that Hammerpoint changed companies to process payments, how is it their responsibility to know who was handling the payments before? If there are issues with the refunds of payments made to another company it's not their responsibility to refund you but for Hammerpoint to get their shit together. i felt the map was just copied and pasted all over with the same buildings same towers ,same building, same police block, same restaurant all over. doesnt feel like the games was in development for more then 1 year, asking for refund over the support now

I don't think neither are true 'zombie apocalypse simulators' DayZ is a mission file for Arma 2 and my hopes are low for the standalone since they seem to be reselling the mod (In my personal opinion) WarZ is a copy/paste out of WarINC with some parts that are better then DayZ and some parts that are far worse, the worse stuff overshadowing the good

I'm still going to follow the development to see if it ever gets better. Can't hurt to see how it pans out. I just don't like that DayZ is basically the only alternative. The concept is fine and wonderful but the execution is just SO shitty. It's basically popular for the same reason Minecraft is in that it has such an interesting concept but it's poorly executed and there are no better alternatives.

There's people saying War Z is just a cash grab riding on DayZ's coattails. There's people saying War Z is in a sorry state because it's an alpha with lots more development needed. There's people saying to not take this completely seriously because a forum moderator wouldn't have access to that kind of information. So I don't know what I'm supposed to think. I literally bought the game yesterday and haven't even had a chance to download it.

I don't see why it really matters if it's going after the same fame that DayZ gained. Since DayZ is a bad game in pretty much every aspect except in concept, we need some other alternatives.

Over hyped for revenue bullshit game. Thanks for the refund.
