This thread reminded me that i should get my money refunded. And so i did, all it took was 3 messages to xsolla's support chat.
Nov 29 02:13 pm (YEKT) Hello, Unfortunately we are not able to initiate a refund according to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We apologize for inconveniences. http://www.thewarz.com/tos.html Best regards, Xsolla support wtf?
It's not just bugs The gameplay is clunkier than anything, it's horribly unoptimized, zombies aren't a challenge, the network is super fragile, and the animations, especially on zombies, are the worst thing I've ever seen. Except maybe the environment (which is just default) I can find zero redeeming qualities in DayZ except for the concept itself. If ANY other type of game had these issues, it would be deemed as a hunk of shit.
Can you really blame Rocket for the optimization? I mean BI created ArmA 2.

You are guaranteed a 30 day no questions asked refund. If they refuse, ask paypal or your bank. Now asking a refund after 30 days and actually expecting it would be stupid. After 30 days they're not obliged to refund you.
Wish that sort of thing was a law here in the States.

Keep hearing this word "proof" and "proven" being thrown around here, still haven't seen a single iota of it though.. Starts to make me think there really is no proof and everyone is just talking out of their asses.
They didn't even do backups. How stupid do you have to be, to not make backups for important things. [editline]28th November 2012[/editline] Its a standalone version of the popular mod "DayZ"
UUmm no? Dayz and Warz are two different things.
Refunds should still be possible as the game isn't released and only in beta phase even after 30 days.
If they sell the actual game and alpha is just a "bonus" then yes indeed. Otherwise you got the product you paid for. Since I am not interested in the game I don't know what they are selling.
Can i still get a refund?? :v
Who the fuck works for a company for free spending 100+ hours answering customer's questions and signs no NDA?
Refunds should still be possible as the game isn't released and only in beta phase even after 30 days.
And anyone who bought it knew it was in alpha going on beta when they did, if you know what you're buying don't use it as an excuse to get your money back.
guy gets demodded, starts raging, and everyone believes everything he says automatically kay lol [editline]28th November 2012[/editline] not to mention the devs addressed this days ago
FYI the moderator in question is 10-15 years old

It fits together well. The devs are extremely greedy, so they found a dumb fan to do that stuff for free. Although there is a huge mother fucking hole in that logic. How can immature greedy dumb people make a game that's being sold a lot? It's not that easy to make a game, make it popular, design it the right way and so on. I think you are right and this is bullshit.
Sure, valid question that I've been asked alot and I will no longer be answering it here soon. When I was Moderator I was practically the Community Manager in the forums -- I actively answered questions, handled support through PMs and talked to the community in my own TeamSpeak actively, by actively I mean every single day multiple hours a day. I quickly gained trust with a few of the Developers... (Mainly Kewk and JonnyTruant) and with trust comes inside knowledge. When I was hacked they not only were wary of another hacking attempt on the forums; they were always wary about the information I had been told via Skype to be released, but it was too late. The other Moderators are not too smart, if you heard how they were Moderating (if you're an experienced mod) you'd probably scream "What the fuck"
I asked him a few days ago how he got the information. I'm sure he was talking about how they were deleting threads and banning people for no reason
I asked him a few days ago how he got the information. Oh look. An update.
Oh look. An update.
Seems a bit fishy to me. He's obviously reading off a script so the question lies whether he made the script or it was given to him.
Oh look. An update.
WarZ people must have whipped out the lawyers or something.
