While meeting with Obama, Israel simultaneously approves more settlements in Jerusalem
Just a basic boiled down serious question here...
Why can't Israel build settlements in their own country?
Palestine does not even exist, and the damn Philistines attack Israel once every other week... why should they give a rats ass about their demands and wishes? Israel truthfully puts up with way too much shit, and don't give me that "oh the Palestinians are just retaliating blah blah..." because that's bullshit.
"Pharoah sought to scare them [the Israelites] out of the land [of Israel]: but We [Allah] drowned him [Pharoah] together with all who were with him. Then We [Allah] said to the Israelites: 'Dwell in this land [the Land of Israel]. When the promise of the hereafter [End of Days] comes to be fulfilled, We [Allah] shall assemble you [the Israelites] all together [in the Land of Israel]." - Qur'an
so that large fuckign wall and oppression is just kittens and lolipops?
you're pretty ignorant.
Israel does what it wants because it thinks the US will back it up no matter what.
How surprised they will be.
and fucking palestine has existed since 5000 BC
All of the Muslim nations are completely against Israel, but the place even in their beliefs was promised to them. As is in their very own Judaic beliefs... everyone agrees but they just want a reason to fight, as usual.
oh gee, if someone kept slaughtering innocent people, I'd be against them too
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I wonder why people don't like Israel
IT'S A FUCKING MYSTERY TO EVERYONE
and no, some dusty fucking book does not "grant a right to land" you tool
and fucking palestine has existed since 5000 BC
Maybe in the days they were bathing in eachothers feces, but today it's all unofficial. We are talking about rightful Israeli land.

It does when it's their very basis of conflict.
uh, no, palestine has been in existance since fucking 5000BC
where the fuck do you come off saying it doesn't exist?
so you jsut picked a date and was like "RIGHT, YOU GUYS ARE OUT"
What, did their lease run out?
I'm surprised Netanyahu and the rest of his thugs were able to form a government. They're not doing anything good for the Israelis or Palestinians, instead pushing the narrow interests of extremist elements in their society.
Where did these influx of idiots come from?

Because its not their country, period. No book says otherwise.
Israel puts up with too much? The zionists brought it on themselves. Prior to their antagonizing, jews and muslims lived peacefully in the area
Every religious book has war-mongering and violent stanzas. Religion was a tool of the nobility to subdue and control the lower classes of people. It's all political. Not to mention, only the most angered and radical people follow violent, disruptive stanzas such as this one.

The State of Israel? Ok, sure.
The West Bank / Gaza? No way.
It does when it's their very basis of conflict.
Why not have a peace treaty with Fatah and let them go through the state solutions (one state, Israel + West Bank is joined as Muslim / Jewish land, two state, it's independent, three state, it's joined back to Jordan)? Or how about try to calm Hamas down instead of firing white phosporus everywhere? Because Zionists would cry their eyes out if the IDF don't suddenly shoot at everything in Arabic with their rifles.

I don't know what the media is telling you, but this is bull shit. Turkey, Egypt, Kazakhstan and possibly more are currently under peace with Israel. We were peaceful with the Jews during the Ottoman times as well and just before the Crusades. Meanwhile the Jews used terrorist tactics against us to force the Mandate to make a state, even though we settled there for thousands of years. And don't forget, there's also non-Muslim Palestinians, like myself, who are strongly against Israel's actions. Fatah aren't Islamists. Christians are in both Hamas and Fatah groups.
If there was no Judaism, Israel would be a typical Sharia country. If there was no Islam, there would still be people trying to fight Israel's occupation, using terrorism or not.

Israel have a good piece of land. If a nation attacks them, they have the right to defend themselves. But they do not in away invade our land. They agreed on a border, the Arabs fought war, they lost, then all was good. And now they can attack back and use the war as an excuse? It's exploitation. Heck, they shouldn't even be allowed to settle there in the first place. Not to mention that Israel has been using unfair opression. We fought back to stop it, but we're turned down and given a bigger sack of shit than before - that's bullshit, it's the truth. If Israel said that we could live without their occupation their worries would be put down by 90%. We demanded for it to be stopped, we were refused (although I will blame some of this on Hamas).
Oh, and did you not know the racism against Palestinians and Arabs are one of the reasons why the route to peace is being blurred? The same way how the Gazans wish every Israeli Jew to die. They put up hate sites, the Jewish terrorists groups massacre innocent Palestinians during prayer times and the Jews praise them as a hero. How the fuck are the people of Palestine to put up with this? Rotting there until Israel even considers peace?
Some people here got their history wrong, let me tell you a little about Palestine's history:
In the end of the 19th century when nationalism started the Jews realized they needed a state of their own, these Jews were called Zionists and started immigrating to Palestine which was then controlled by the Ottoman Empire. These Zionists built settlements (Like Tel-Aviv and Rishon-Lezion) and bought lands from Arabs in the area of Palestine. (Note: back then there were no "Palestines", Palestine was just the name of the area, the "Palestines" were just Arabs living in the area, they were no different from other Arabs in nearby Areas).
In WWI GB acquired a mandate to this area and several areas around it like Jordan, at first they wanted Palestine to be an Jewish-only state while Jordan will be the Arabian state, Palestine is about 1/4 of Jordan in land area. In the 20's and 30's WWII the Jews immigrated in a bigger rate, and expanded faster. This angered most Arabs in the area and there were several revolts and clashes between the Jewish population and the Arab population. Both groups used "illegal" methods sometimes so it's not like you can say one acted better than the other, however the Arabs were quite a majority so their opposition of Jewish expansion in the area is legit, but not in a way to excuse the revolts.
After WWII the refugees of the war from Europe immigrated mostly to Israel, about 2 million in number, which almost even'ed out the percentage of Jews and Arabs in Palestine. Several partition plans were proposed to the UN throughout 1947-1948 and the one which was adopted partitioned Israel like this:

Note that most of the area in the southern part of the Jewish proposed state is useless desert so besides that the Jews got about 20% of the (useful) land when the Arabs got 80%. The Arabs didn't agree to this as they wanted all 100% of the land, and when the Jewish people declared independence the Arabs declared war, in this war the new Israeli state won and expanded and took everything you see in the map except for the purple and green, which were taken (yes - occupied) by Jordan and Egypt. Also most Arabs in the area Israel expanded to either fled to Jordan and the West Bank or were driven off from the land.
In '67 Israel decided to go to war against Jordan, Egypt and Syria which got help from Iraq too, due to these nations gathering troops at it's borders (they planned on attacking), they took the green parts of the map plus Sinai which is like 2/3 of Israel's land area but mostly desert, Israel gave it back to Egypt for peace. Jordan agreed to peace but didn't want the West Bank back, so Israel continued to occupy it.
That's all the history for now. As far as I know if Israel completely pulls out of the West Bank all hell will break loose there, so Palestines shouldn't bitch about Israel occupation there. Regarding expansion and illegal settlements in the area I kinda agree that Israel should stop it but some cities and settlements will be a part of Israel and not be pulled out of, nothing can help it.
And to the poster above me how about you read the damn article you bring, I'm talking about the Wikipedia one and here's a line from the top of it: Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin condemned the attack, describing Goldstein as a "degenerate murderer", "a shame on Zionism and an embarrassment to Judaism".
Only extremists and whackos support him: Goldstein has been seen as a martyr by Jewish extremists in Hebron since the attack and his grave became a site of pilgrimage for his supporters.
Basically he's like Igal Amir the Murderer of PM Yitzhak Rabin.
The community in this forum hasn't changed a bit. It's still the same ignorant people with the same simple solutions for issues they wouldn't even dream of understanding.
About a year ago I was here just after Oferet Yetzuka operation in Gaza speaking in the name of those who fought for my home and today, I'm now a grunt on the line between Israel and Gaza for about half a year and I see the efforts Israel makes for Gaza and the amount of gratitude the civilians give back.
The picture is larger than you all see it. Judging a country thousands of miles away by cheap information of anti Israeli organizations that they themselves have no idea of anything that's happening and the News you watch on TV is very nice but isn't enough to make any sort of stupid statement like:
"Why is Israel such a terrible country"
If any decision the Knesset makes about this country follows thoughts, dilemmas and voting before made.

Yeah because, Israel never did anything wrong.
Those cheap anti Israeli organizations made everything up. You don't need to be there to know whats going on.

I didn't say anybody made stories up to make IDF look bad. I did say they give half true information.
Stating Israeli destroyed schools but they won't tell the real reason, they'll just say some childish reason like.. Make it easier for the soldiers to march into Gaza like Nazis (I'm exaggerating with that but it's almost like that).

I'm pro-Israel even when I don't back up half their decisions.

I always thought the most US news network reported in Israel's favor to the overwhelming amount of pro-israel groups.
And oh yeah, they did tell the real reason, that Israel never had one.
