Try to convince other people that Ron is better than Mitt. We've got a solid constitutionalist that has a practically solid voting record versus a conservative businessman, the same kind of person who got us into this mess in the first place, and who's pretty much a "flip-flopper." Romney basically does only what he views as politically profitable while not taking a strong, concrete stance on issues.
It always pisses me off that candidates do this. Family Guy, no matter your opinion on it, is actually a great source of political and social satire. The episode when Lois runs for mayor? This clip: What actually happens is not far from that, and it scares me.
He might not keep his promises, but shit will hit the fan when any of the republicans will keep their promises.
At least most Republicans understand what the constitution is all about.
At least most Republicans understand what the constitution is all about.
Toilet paper, right?
At least most Republicans understand what the constitution is all about.
So that's why people like Perry are trying to put religion back in schools. Totally barring what the First Amendment says.
At least most Republicans understand what the constitution is all about.
I rated this funny because I thought you were joking but it seems you are serious... da fuck?
I rated this funny because I thought you were joking but it seems you are serious... da fuck?
I'm not one to poke fun at people but it's faze. What did you expect?
I'm not one to poke fun at people but it's faze. What did you expect?
Well fuck me for having an opinion then huh?
the economy was in shambles when he got in why does everyone blame him for the collapse also i'm leaning toward agreeing with obama here. especially because the competition is pretty much a clown car of crazy idiots like santorum
Well fuck me for having an opinion then huh?
You didn't give an opinion though, you made a statement as if it were fact.
I'm not one to poke fun at people but it's faze. What did you expect?
I don't browse the comments of political news thread very much just read the articles. I was just surprise cause I expected to see that kind of comment on the fox news comment section.
Well fuck me for having an opinion then huh?
Well when you present your opinion as a fact that can easily be proven wrong, then yeah, fuck you for having an opinion. I'm actually quite racist much to my dismay but I don't go around going "oh all black people are thieves and assholes and all white people are the opposite" because I know by experience and with research that it's false. You should try it
At least most Republicans understand what the constitution is all about.
they're racist cunts what are you on about?
Conservative media is gonna jump all over this. Candidates aren't supposed to claim to "deserve" anything. They've got to earn it from the public.
they're racist cunts what are you on about?
Making huge generalizations about people. How Conservative of you. Oops, now I've gone and done it.
I'd sure like to know some of the classified shit he's been up to. I'm curious to see what Ron Paul would do if he was to somehow get in office but I doubt it will happen.
I'm thinking about leaving the country. The amount of conservatives fuckwits here are getting on my nerves. Some third-world countries sound nice.
As long as he doesn't hand the key to the country to the Senate again, then he sure does
Making huge generalizations about people. How Conservative of you.
Stop moaning, everyone knows republicans are collectively racist. :-)
Oh come on, we all remember the study that was done proving that conservatives on average are more racist and have lower IQs
Stop moaning, everyone knows republicans are collectively racist. :-)
At this stage of the game, I find claims and, to an extent, ad hominem such as that to be irrelevant. It is far better to confront them on policies they promote and reveal to the observing audience why they are wrong.
I was going to vote for Ron Paul, but then I found out he doesn't believe in Separation of church and state and wants to privatize education. F that.
Let me explain to you what he probably has in mind about privatized education. The system right now sucks. No amount of money ever fixes the problems with the system. Most of us aren't really learning much of anything except how to regurgitate math formulas we don't really understand and sugar-coated propaganda history. Businesses want to make money, and to do that they must do what they do well. Private education will be forced into competition, thus improving quality at increasingly lower cost to anyone. This is why anything else privatized usually works well (except the medical system, which is dominated by big pharma cabals). I suggest you study what separation of church and state actually means. The idea was never to keep people free from having to acknowledge religion in state capacity (this is the equivalent of trying to say you have a right to not be offended, you don't). The only reason it's there is to make sure we don't end up like the Middle East, the Holy Roman Empire, or 18th century England, where the state had an officially sponsored church and more or less forced everyone to look to it or at least pay some kind of tax for it's support. That's all it's for, and anything less is actually suppression of religious expression. Please do explain to me where the Constitution forbids religious expression by a government official. Ron Paul is a by-the-book candidate. He's the only one with a legitimate plan, everyone else is just putting on a show and will force us in the direction of one horrible extreme or another that will continue to send us spiraling down the drain.
I'm kind of curious what was the last time a third party candidate had real publicity in the American presidential race because I've only ever heard about democrats and republicans.

I think "deserve" is a bit of a stretch. He's been cool and all, and he really is a generally pretty great guy, but I don't think that I can name any leader within recent years who's deserved a position rather than be the most logical option. Which he sort of is, in all honesty.
A huge issue for this election is the upcoming judicial appointments. Which would you like to see? Two appointments by Romney or two by Obama? I shudder to think who Romney would put in...

[editline]6th February 2012[/editline] Haha what a crowd.
Reminds me of that video of Ron Paul that got booed and then seconds later cheered for saying something about bringing the troops home.
It's sad, really. Say a couple things that make sense that people don't like, then top it off by saying the things they do like and you're golden.
I'm kind of curious what was the last time a third party candidate had real publicity in the American presidential race because I've only ever heard about democrats and republicans.
Perot in '92 and '96 I would assume.
Hard to know who to vote for when most of the candidates never really had it hard, and don't understand some if not most of the problems the average joeblow faces.
This. No modern president is from a normal middle/lower class family anymore, they're always from some high class family with loads of money. That's how it should be though right? Since it's us normal dirt people putting them there. I miss the days when presidents were poor and worked on farms, and had a full 12 months of schooling in their life, but changed the nation for the better. aka Abraham Lincoln
