it's not, i said he deserves it in the way that anyone that works incredibly hard for something and never gives up deserves that thing. and that picture of him all alone in his campaign room or w/e just breaks my heart. but yeah from a realistic point of view i don't think a single person on the american right wing is fit to hold any office in any level of government in ANY country.

Not to mention that both parties fuck with when and how people vote so they can't vote against them. Controlling when the ballots close, not accepting some forms of I.D. or not telling them where the voting is taking place. We're the only modern country to do that you know, and it happens with both Democrats and Republican states, the Voting Rights Act of 1964 should have fucking taken care of this but states still find their loopholes to further their agendas.

I suggest you study what separation of church and state actually means. The idea was never to keep people free from having to acknowledge religion in state capacity (this is the equivalent of trying to say you have a right to not be offended, you don't). The only reason it's there is to make sure we don't end up like the Middle East, the Holy Roman Empire, or 18th century England, where the state had an officially sponsored church and more or less forced everyone to look to it or at least pay some kind of tax for it's support. That's all it's for, and anything less is actually suppression of religious expression. Please do explain to me where the Constitution forbids religious expression by a government official.
