Cowwadoody Modern Warfare 3 to be coming out in November

I hate Activision.
Then suddenly it's a surprising change to the series and is actually a good game.
Who am I kidding?
Fuck man, already?!?! Jesus Christ, i'm sick and fucking exhausted from this Call of Duty bullshit. Either kill the franchise or make it better. EA and DICE have the right idea about Battlefield 3, try making the game better rather than pumping 2 out a year.
Wow, another amazing CoD game. I might buy this over other fantastic titles such as Duke Nukem Forever, Alice and Portal 2.
:downs:
1. Grab your MW2 disc
2. Cross out the 2 and write a 3 with sharpie
3. Feel cool knowing you got a pre-release copy.
Say, what happened to those trademarks and domain names Activision bought?
Wasn't one of them "Call of Duty: Future Warfare"?

and so on
Funnily enough, PC Gamer actually gave Black Ops 64
Also is anyone actually surprised about a Call of Duty game being released in november?
I hope it is full of glitches.
I play the MW series for the story believe it or not it has a lot of potential. Multiplayer usually sucks dick anyways.
Oh boy I can't wait to shell out $60 for the same mediocre game I paid for last year!!!
Thanks Activision I love you so much <3
Oh my gosh I am so excited!
Cock of Doody 4: Modern Gayfuckstupid
Raven is working on the Multiplayer?...
RAVEN?.
who's last good Multiplayer game was Solider of Fortune II?.
well it's safe to assume that it's going to be ether A: a total carbon copy rehash, B: tacked on and lazy (Singularity) or C: fail hysterically with game breaking bugs, lag, and game play imbalances (Wolfenstien).
dohohoho.
Ravensoft actually did a fairly decent job on Jedi Outcast.
I'm not going to be optimistic, though. This is looking to be pretty bad with three development studios, all with differing philosophies and styles, attempting to work on a tired and quickly declining series. Everyone with any talent either left or was fired, meaning any and all possible ideas from the last crew that were possibly good are now trashed because they're all gone. The actual storyline wasn't too bad, this coming from a writer and voracious reader, but with the lead writer and basically everyone who actually had the reins gone? Infinity Ward was left with only the bare set crew after Nazivision finished pillaging them, and the crew on a movie set is only good at doing what it's told. I.E. not developing from it's own vision.
Which means it won't even be the same thing remotely, with Nazivision, Sledgehammer, and Raven's combined vision the only thing able to take it's place. Which means the plot will probably be terribad, the multiplayer will probably have weapon/item pickups, and we'll have to pay to have leet customization. Good job, Kotick.

That was in 2002.

Seriously? The story is now like one of those B grade action flicks that you only watch for explosions. The actual story is terrible.

Raven does do a good job on the single player portion. It seems it's the multiplayer that is their weakness.

Asking them to do anything above a Quake style deathmatch game where the most complicated thing the player has to do is touch a flag and run to a single point on a map is like asking a cat to fly a plane.

my men died
might as well start world war 3

Just proving they're capable of something relatively acceptable.
Starring Reb Brown
Directed by Michael Bay.

Except for JK3. That had a terrible story and mediocre vanilla multiplayer (the modding really saved it, though, and people still play that stuff today).
Where's that jpeg with the "in heaven/in hell" thing? They need to throw together an allstar team of developers. Nothing else will save MW3.
I'm done with COD. Black Ops will be the last one I play.

agreed, partly because I'm fucking tired of the same damn thing and this is most likely going to be worse than the same damn thing we've been playing for years.
Bring on Battlefield 3 to beat the living shit out of this game.
Valve could take a lesson from Activision in release dates.
I keep on running, keep on running
And nothing works,
I can't get away from you, no.

Why did their have to be another COD?
Fucking Activision.

Same with me really.
I REALLY liked the CoD4 story (It felt almost believable), and I sort of liked MW2's story. It started off pretty good but after the whole [sp]betrayal thing[/sp] it started to go downhill and just got more and more ridiculous. I wondered if IW were sitting there wondering how much ridiculous shit they could get away with.
I am really hoping that the story ends up more like the first one, but I cannot see that happening tbh.
The levels in MW2 were a bit meh as well, I feel they started to go downhill at the same point (although the ones set in the US were pretty good). Compared to some of the brilliant missions in CoD4 they were not that good ("No fighting in the war room" is one of the best levels of a game I have played recently).
I'm not having very high expectations for this out of fear of being disappointed, but I wouldn't mind being pleasantly surprised by it.
I think Activsion have milked it too much, I get the feeling they are rushing the SP part of the game (The most important bit for me, and the reason I buy most games) to get more generic boring MP out there.
Apparently the ex-leaders or whatever moved to EA and created Respawn Entertainment. They're supposedly working on a Call of Duty killer, and if it has the same change and fun things from CoD4 to MW2 (Admit it, they were at least different enough to warrant sequels, even though MW2 isn't my favorite game), and took what they learned from MW2 and nicely balanced the gameplay, we could have a very nice game on ours hands.
I like call of duty. Who gives a shit if it's filled with mindless 12 year olds? I play with friends/ actual cool people from LIVE and it's rather entertaining. Oh, I also play TF2 and CS:S on the computer. I've beaten all the Half Lifes at least once. I still like Call of Duty. Don't see why everyone hates on it so much.
[editline]14th February 2011[/editline]
Although I never did play MW2 I've played all the others.
Now I see why Valve spends 2-3+ years making one game.
