Call of Duty is actually a great rental title. The singleplayer is usually mindless fun for a few hours, with the shooting always interrupted by special sequences or so and so gimmicks. Really, a week is all you'll need (if you play multiplayer) and for $8 it's a good deal.

Why can't they just stop for one minutes and think "how can we make a game that will please the buyer instead of fucking them over" honestly activision seem to be on a mission to piss of the gaming community.

Battlefield 3 is going to be sooooo much better. The only way to get Activision to re-think their release schedule is when the gamers actually get tired of the yearly CoD games and leave the next one in the stores.
