Well this game IS developed by Infinity Ward (or at least what remains of it) not Treyarch, so technically it will have been two years since the last Modern Warfare release. Doesn't mean it wont suck.

Everyone complains about how terrible Call of Duty is now. Yet Black Ops broke records with how many copies sold, if I remember correctly. I'm not saying that the number of copies sold equals a good game, but it equals a successful game in sales. I'm sure half the people in this thread already have Black Ops. Little bit hypocritical? Besides, not sure what the surprise it.. It's Activision, they milk everything :v: I might be the only guy in this thread to stand against what everyone else is saying, but screw it. Since MW1, campaigns have been a pretty fun and solid playthrough, although quite short. It's like watching a 5-6 hour cheesy action movie. It would be nice if they added more content, but the experience is fun while it lasts. They've been doing well with co-op modes lately, like Spec Ops mode in MW2 and Nazi Zombies in Black Ops and WaW. If they keep innovating the co-op experience, I'm not going to shit on the game. I don't think the series is boring or garbage, just recycled. Nothing wrong with enjoying recycled material. Everyone knows what to expect with multiplayer. We've all probably played it at some point. Just because you've "moved on to better things", doesn't mean others don't enjoy it. I think multiplayer gets a horrible name simply because the people who play it give it a bad name. Little, annoying kids that don't shut up on mic, xxMLGPrOXx idiots, and your friends who won't ever stop talking about it at school treating it like the best thing ever. All that crap aside, I still think its a fun experience, even if it is flawed in certain ways. /opinion

I REALLY hope they lose the Modern Warfare rights in the lawsuit. MW1 was a great story, and while alot people make fun of two I really enjoyed the campaign. No one complained about the G11 in Black Ops, which is even more stupid. I also like how the DLC pricing is getting worse over time. W@W map packs cost 10 dollars, and come with three new multiplayer maps + 1 zombie map. MW2 map packs cost 15 dollars, and come with three new multiplayer maps + 2 remakes from MW1 The new Blops map pack cost 15 dollars, and comes with three new multiplayer maps + 1 zombie map Prediction- MW3 map packs cost 20 dollars, come with three new multiplayer maps + 2 remakes from MW2

It's sad that COD 1 and 2 was great, now look at it.
