CNN severs ties with Donna Brazile after leaks reveal she supplied Clinton with 2nd debate question
The title is seriously misleading.
In what way? Brazile has been let go by CNN and they said it was because of the WikiLeaks emails about debate questions. Care to explain what's wrong with that?

2nd debate implies it was the second debate between Trump and Clinton - not between Sanders and Clinton.
No I said that as a joke about democrats and gun control.
It's painfully obvious it is a light hearted joke.
Poe's law.
Fucking stupid move by two fucking stupid people.
I'm really upset that even after THIS I still support Hillary more than Trump. Why can't America have REASONABLE candidates?

I think it's incredible that we have 4 candidates and I still find myself favoring one of them mostly because she is the least-bad of them all.
To be fair though on a continuum it's like Clinton > Johnson = Stein >>>>>>>>>>>>> Random American > RIPBILLYMAYS >>> Trump.

Have postal for president.
We wont need a wall to prevent illegal immigrants, we will just permaban Mexico.

What's with the drive-by attack on me?
In a thread about CNN letting go of a major DNC contact you have nothing to say about the news except take a passive jab at me. I'd be flattered that you fixate yourself on me if it was relevant to the thread.
I hope the DNC crumbles after this election. Its rife with corruption and hate towards the other side just like the majority of the GOP.
This honestly just seems like a massive flaw in the whole primary system in use. The fact that the major party primaries have to be organised by these huge organisations that will have ties with the candidates (intrinsically, as they are part of the same major party).
There's bound to be some form of collusion during the process, and it really does suck because it cost you a genuine game changer of a candidate who isn't a total fucking sociopathic moron. But short of constructing an oversight committee to really crack down on this stuff it's unlikely to change. They have no reason to change themselves after all. The Libertarian party is a running joke, the Greens never actually manage to get anywhere, and the remaining independents will get stomped outside of their states.
But implementing such an oversight committee would piss off basically the entire Republican party (and those further right leaning) because it's "more government" and "more taxes". Despite neither of those being inherently bad things. Despite the good it would do to have a unbiased group monitoring the processes central to the entire fucking country getting a competent leader.

Meant it more as a light hearted jab; I'd rather have you be President than Trump. Honestly more I think about it, probably more than Stein and Johnson. My bad if it came across as patronizing.

As for the story, what's said is said. She rightly resigned after breaking the tradition that politicians and the people who report on them should necessarily have a degree of separation.
Just remember that you still under a random American though.

Whoops you got up on the tiered list, my bad didn't read.
The real scandal here is that someone would actively edit their email signature to say [emphasis mine].
Some devices automatically do this so it could have been added automatically

Not content with taking offense for every imagined sleight against himself, Tudd gets offended for another poster being the victim of a poorly-worded joke that was not at all meant to be an indictment on that persons character.
I'll remember not to attempt to keep things light in the future though, apologies.

I don't think it was meant as rudely as you think. Hell, I'd vote for you over trump, heh. Maybe even stein or Johnson.

I'm guessing I wouldn't make it past random American tier.
I kinda view embracing nuclear as the quickest and easiest solution to global warming anyways so eh.

We could negotiate. Out of interest, how much money would you like to donate to my charitable foundation?

It says 'I Pad', not 'iPad'. I even put a '[sic]' there...
That misspelling aside: Apple devices generally use something along the lines of 'Sent from my iThing', without the user's name or punctuation.
Since the phrase is different and the signature also has her twitter handle, it's clear that she edited it at some point.

Could be a case of tech-illiterate monkey-see monkey-do. She gets a bunch of messages that end with "Sent from my iPad" or "Sent from my iPhone" and thinks it's some sort of formality she's not familiar with, so she just types it herself at the bottom.

~5:00 for her talking about the questions. (Though the whole video is golden)

I think it's more likely that she really does have an iPad, but didn't manage (or didn't care) to type that in correctly due to that device's keyboard autocorrect and a mistaken space.
She probably wanted to make the message more personal, but didn't know how to (or usually doesn't due to how finicky it is) select the part she wanted to edit directly, so she deleted from the right to edit it.
At least that's (imo) the explanation that assumes minimum stupidity.
Should be noted that she leaked the questions to Sanders too.
Should be noted that she leaked the questions to Sanders too.
Oh, source for this? Because if that's true then she basically didn't give an advantage to either of them.
Oh, source for this? Because if that's true then she basically didn't give an advantage to either of them.
It might still make them look a little better compared to Republican candidates in that city (assuming it's the water crisis question), even if the effect would be small since it's not a direct comparison.

Sorry, misunderstood what I was quoting.
The Sanders Campaign has come out (or at least one of its leaders) and said that Brazile would give information and advice to both campaigns fairly equally, saying they did not believe she did any wrong-doing.
this is the saddest election ever. the GOP had one fucking job.
this election would have been essentially over by now.

So horrible to see how Bernie Sanders was treated during this entire campaign. A stand up, genuine guy who fights for what he believes (even if no one is willing to listen). Instead, we have someone who flip flops based on what is popular.
I really wish it would have been him running against Trump rather than Hillary.

Seriously. Throwing the blame on the GOP when HRC is in the news for this corrupt shit. smh

Hilllary doesn't really flip-flop though, there's a whole debate going on in another thread about this. Her views have steadily changed over time, she hasn't switched between supporting and decrying things rapidly much at all historically. She has however changed her platform to better represent those who vote for her, as a representative politician should, rather than forcing her personal beliefs on the people.
I know Trump supporters are gonna cry about this bit, but it's literally the only fair comparison we have;
Trump does flip-flop however, by the definition of the term to a T. He has changed his stance on almost every aspect of his platform rapidly during his campaign, he is constantly being contradicted and "corrected" by his campaign team as they literally do not know what the fuck he is thinking at any point.
