i don't think you've even fired a gun before
I have, and what does firing a gun have to do with prosecutors?
I have, and what does firing a gun have to do with prosecutors?
you're acting all tough like you would totally shoot a dude if he broke into your house.
like, that is the biggest load of crap ever
To those rating me dumb, no prosecutor in this country will press charges on anyone for shooting a intruder if he wasn't shot in the back and/or if he didn't make it outside of the house
Which country? USA?

I was coming to the defense of Hullu, so why are you coming at me personally?
Which country? USA?
Yes, general rule of thumb in the United States is that as long as you don't shoot them outside of your house and if you don't hit them in the back you are generally okay... legally speaking
This reminds me of the story a few years ago where this guy broke into a house through the skylight, fell on a knife and sued the lady for something stupid...but he actually won.
Wasn't that the movie Lier Lier?
Btw, probably clocks but, the lady didn't have a gun, and the guy somehow got away.
Also, the guy said he had been held hostage and had just escaped, but the police looked him up and he had just been released from jail that day.

I'm not gonna ask them if they want to kill me or just mingle with my furniture. I will shoot/beat the living shit out of them. If they want to come kick my door down, they better be immune to bullets because that's what they're getting. If they don't like it, not my problem. I didn't ask them to break down my door.
Local news story, updated:
PORTLAND, Ore. – Just two days after calling 9-1-1 on himself, the man who police say broke into a house to take a shower was rearrested Wednesday on theft, burglary and stolen property charges.
Timothy James Chapek, 24, made national headlines after he made a 9-1-1 call Monday fearing that the owner of the home he had broken into had a gun. Portland police charged him with trespassing but it wasn’t enough to hold him.
Police in Chehalis, Wash. caught up to Chapek just after midnight Wednesday at the town’s Walmart after they received a call of a theft in progress. Police said they arrived to find Chapek in the store’s parking lot attempting to load items into a stolen car.
It hasn’t been a banner week for Chapek. He started Monday at the Washington County Jail because of a probation violation. Hours later police said he broke into that Southwest Portland home. After being charged and released, Chapek skipped his court date on Tuesday, and Beaverton police said he was actually at Kuni BMW stealing a running loaner five-series BMW.
Then he headed north on Interstate 5.
Chapek is now in the Lewis County Jail and is expected to make his first court appearance Thursday afternoon.
There is no word on when he’ll be brought back to Oregon to face charges in Portland.
Stupidity, this is a PERFECT example of it.
The guy has been trying to get help, apparently his mental health has been in decline but he's been pretty much ignored by anyone that could help him.
Honestly it sounds more like a cry for help.
I love how people get pissed at police for shooting unarmed suspects yet the recurring theme in this topic is "If I see a robber I don't care if they're armed or not, I'm going to shoot and then kill them."
I live in Australia, so my home defense system is a cricket bat, a beer bottle, or a bow :v:

Shoot to incapacitate, not to kill. Go with the crossbow.
I agree with that but only in certain situations
Crossbow to the head is nice :v:
crossbow to the hand is quite nice too
but its so hard to get the small target so i'll just hope for the best and shoot his chest+abdomen(whatever you call the area)
Best news story, ever!
