Also, use of heavier models has increased in the last few years. And besides, a lot of the pictures in the hot girls threads weren't just model shots.
Indeed, it's mostly porn. Both pro and amateur.
I'm saying a good deal of FP appears to lack individual opinion. FP tends to switch opinions and stances enmass.

Because the fast threads and sensationalist headlines audience are the same.
There's a big difference between forcing oneself to be skinny and being naturally skinny. Obviously, the woman that forces herself to be thin via extreme dieting/starving herself won't be healthy compared to the woman who has that build naturally.
Nah. 1 and 2. 3 is too fat for my tastes.
3 isn't fat, she's slightly chubby, and well within healthy range. 1 isn't healthy.
3 forever. At least this is some step away from the whole "skinny is beautiful, start starving ladies" ideology.

What, I can't like ladies with a bit of meat on them? I personally can't stand skinny women. I won't tell ladies what to do in regards to their body, it's their own choice. Just don't expect me to like it.
When did I say you couldnt.
It's odd to me. Facepunch swings on opinion so often, it's hard to not call it a band wagon sometimes.
Last year, in those Hot Girls fast thread where people posted pictures of girls they thought were attractive (usually half nude), there were tons of pages of girls that had a build of girl number 2. Girls with builds similar to girl 3, were almost non existent.
Now that there have been a few threads about underweight models the past 2 months, everyone is suddenly into heavier girls and think that perfectly normal girls, girls with builds similar to girl 2, are unattractive or just "meh."
What the fuck?
Facepunch isn't a hive mind, we all have different opinions, you thinking it's "swaying" is just you reading different posts.

Remember that the word "fat" doesn't necessarily mean "Oh my god, you're a cow." He's saying she's slightly too fat for his tastes, that still could mean ever so slightly chubby. It's like saying "Oh she's too short for my taste." Doesn't mean she's short, just means she's shorter than some people, and shorter than he would want. Don't take the word "fat" too literally.

We at Facepunch are all atheist racist sexist neckbearded video gamers. Right?
I like skinny women, but not all the female models I met were the unhealthy type of skinny, just skinny. If they were too skinny nowadays they wouldn't be able to get any jobs for stuff, most designers want some kind of median range for skinny girls. It's like when they don't want a girl because she's too tall or 1 inch too short.

You're taking what I'm saying and distorting it.
It's kind of funny though because guys are going in the skinny direction recently as well. Most male models are around 6'0"-6'1" while weighing 130 to 140. Pretty much the same as me.

You make it sound as if I am saying facepunch users are mindless drones simply adhering to popular opinion, I'm not.
But you're crazy if you think group mind, herd behavior, mob effect, or any other type of behavior psychology doesn't apply to facepunch.

Alright I think it's time you calm down man. True or not, no need to be so vocal about it, that's just rude.

My favorite physique would be a median between 2 and 3.
fat isn't meat.
I don't see why everyone is so hung up on this. You prefer what you prefer, 1, 2, and 3, could all be healthy women. 3 is too chubby for my tastes, 2 is my ideal, 1 is a tad skinny but tolerable. That's just me though, y'all chubbychasers can take the chubbies.
I always assumed Perfumly was a girl.
my friends call me colognely

You know what's really sad? The woman on the right is considered "plus size" by today's fashion standards.

Not really. She has wide hip bones. Her bodyfat% appears to actually be below the average woman's, she just has great genes.

That's a massive exaggeration.

Seeing as most everyday women aren't exactly size zeroes, it's nice to see a more realistic view of women.
Nice to see classiness in modern society.
Didn't Dove or Olay say this same goddamn thing a few years ago, and were promptly caught photoshopping all of their models again?
