Many apps butcher the 'material design' concept, because it's so simple it's actually hard to mimic right.
It's literally too simple, oh the irony.
Whenever I heard anything about Valve updating anything, I'm starting to think that the "work on whatever you want" work ethic of Valve might not be as cool for us as it is for them. This might not be what's actually going on but I feel like they've all rolled their desks into the break room and all the shit they want to make is given off to the community in the guise of a "workshop."

I take that back, while it does show me all messages including the ones I've received when offline unlike the old version, it either just doesn't run in the background or doesn't show any notifications, which makes it fucking useless as a chat app
all i get is crashes now
