I play my Vita for hours sat at home on the sofa when the TV is otherwise occupied, other times I play it during long journeys. I seldom wip it out for a quick game and I'm sure I'm not alone.
You aren't! I love the ability to pick up my vita and just play a few games of spelunky quickly. My biggest problem with vita is the lack of great games, there are few.

As a big fan of indie games, I'd say there are too many for me to keep up with :) I'm the small minority that the Vita is just ideal for being really into indie games and really into handhelds. I'll hold on to my OG 3G vita until it dies though, dat OLED screen...
I'm never going to buy a Vita for as long as they have the overpriced propriety cards. It isn't even the cost for me - it's the principal of it and I won't buy from a company who are pathetically trying to milk their customers like that.
Go to any used games store and buy a used card for $15.
I have the majority of my vita library on my memory card with space for more.
I wonder if they will ever launch a real complete pack with all the dlcs.
The Game of the Year edition, which is frequently on sale (I paid around 9€ for my copy), comes with all the DLC so far. Of course, a new season of DLC is coming soon, but I would imagine there will be a new edition of the game with all the DLCs in it, probably before the end of the year.
Maybe I'm just outdated, but my impression is always that the most successful handheld games are the ones that don't really require a decent amount of investment. I couldn't even begin to imagine playing something like BL2 or an actual RPG on a handheld.

Lol go play monster hunter, you are very outdated. I used to play that rpg on my psp and it's a hugely successful series
I don't see how this is going to come off well at all. BL2 is a game that you have to have some sort of mental investment in because of skill and weapon balancing.
dont forget the memes. real intricate shit
