yes but murder is a violent crime. in order for your analogy to work, possession of child porn would have to be harmful to children. it's not
I was talking about the creation. Guess I should've cleared that up.
I was talking about the creation. Guess I should've cleared that up.
yeah I didn't catch that this thread is kind of a clusterfuck
Well, the clear solution to this is make super-realistic 3D animated child porn, no one gets hurt then. And then the step after that is easily accessible virtual reality CP, I'm fairly sure that will bring the crimes to near zero. For example if a rapist just inputed his desired women into a machine and it created a likeness of he would have already raped her. And would not need to do it in real life. Virtual reality is the future.
I would argue that illustrated child porn may be somewhat harmful to children in that it could normalize pedophilia to a point where some people begin to see no harm in the real thing
I would argue that illustrated child porn may be somewhat harmful to children in that it could normalize pedophilia to a point where some people begin to see no harm in the real thing
Like how porn makes me want to rape people and video games make me want to murder people.
Porn of any sort makes you want it more. You don't just finish up some hardcore asian anal and say "Oh god no, I don't ever want to fap to asians ever again" because you obviously enjoyed it to be able to masturbate to it. It may offer a temporary release, but they will go straight back to it and will want more. I don't understand why these people are allowed to speak publicly about allowing this, they should be shot right down. Paedophilia is not acceptable and it never will be under any circumstances - the only people that argue for it are clearly Paedophiles.
"artificial" child porn, like lolicon, is already legal. Except in UK, afaik.
Illegal in Canada, and despite the original law being declared unconstitutional congress repassed the law saying it is illegal in the United States, with every case involving it having to be knocked down to obscenity charges since the judges presiding over the cases refused to allow the government to move forward with child porn charges against the defendants [editline]12th February 2012[/editline]
Yeah but the CP has to be made somehow, and all CP is basically child molestation so it's just a vicious circle.
IIRC it's not illegal to watch videos of people being murdered or raped
IIRC it's not illegal to watch videos of people being murdered or raped
Myeah but that's still incredibly morally dubious in the 'watching for personal pleasure' sense
I would argue that illustrated child porn may be somewhat harmful to children in that it could normalize pedophilia to a point where some people begin to see no harm in the real thing
Does porn of acted out rape and video games of sadistic murder encourage the act of either one in real life?
No, you aren't going to stop watching that porn, but on what grounds do you make the argument that they'll go out and do it in real life?
Because they have sexual urges they cannot act out and must repress for their entire lives, of course they're going to want to go out and act on them.
In the same way that anyone arguing for gay rights must be homosexual, or that anyone arguing for marijuana legalization must be a drug dealer or drug addict, am I right?
Yes.
Because they have sexual urges they cannot act out and must repress for their entire lives, of course they're going to want to go out and act on them. Yes.
Hello, troll. Take a seat in line. Woomp will be with you shortly.
Does porn of acted out rape and video games of sadistic murder encourage the act of either one in real life?
Jerking off releases dopamine into your system. That feeling is addictive. I don't know about you, but jerking off doesn't make me any less likely to want to get with a lassie.
Jerking off releases dopamine into your system. That feeling is addictive. I don't know about you, but jerking off doesn't make me any less likely to want to get with a lassie.
Real life experiences will always beat seeing it on video.
Because they have sexual urges they cannot act out and must repress for their entire lives, of course they're going to want to go out and act on them. Yes.
So does that make you against gay rights, just because you don't fuck dudes? You don't have to be part of a group to support them. I'm all for equality of women, and I'm 99.9 percent sure I have a dick(or two tumors and a fucking huge clitoris, plus severely underdeveloped breasts)
it's not difficult for an adult to take advantage of children because children are not properly educated and are shielded from things that people arbitrarily decide that might harm their ~innocence~
Even if you properly educated a child, most children still won't actually comprehend the severity of these situations. Plus they simply can't form logic the same way adults do which makes them easier to manipulate even if they are educated on the subject.
Apparently these days having a differing opinion is trolling. I bet you guys don't even know what the word means (User was permabanned for this post ("Gimmick" - verynicelady))
Apparently these days having a differing opinion is trolling. I bet you guys don't even know what the word means
He was calling everyone who disagreed with him a paedophile, while it's more flaming than trolling it's still banable.
While we may be repulsed, if it can lower the amount of rape and abuse then we have an obligation to do it.
Apparently these days having a differing opinion is trolling. I bet you guys don't even know what the word means
Wow good job bypassing your ban just to continue to be wrong. Calling everyone you disagree with a pedophile is trolling. So is going ahead and saying that anyone who argues for homosexuality is a homosexual etc.
Wow good job bypassing your ban just to continue to be wrong. Calling everyone you disagree with a pedophile is trolling. So is going ahead and saying that anyone who argues for homosexuality is a homosexual etc.
that isnt angrychair
that isnt angrychair
odd that his first post is right after angrychair's ban, and he made his first post about how the ban was unjustified.
Like how porn makes me want to rape people and video games make me want to murder people.
If illustrated CP proves to be an effective harm reduction strategy I'd completely accept it but anything that normalizes child pornography doesn't sit well with me
I don't look at things from the ~biotruth~ angle if there are perfectly good psychological ways to explain something
Peer-reviewed neuropsych is now ~biotruth~ crap? this study has been cited precisely once in the real world, in a paper about problems with aggregate data lots of shit happened in the Czech republic in 1989, attributing a change in sexual abuse to this one thing is fallacious at best
I never said it wasn't valid, I said I'm not going to start basing my judgement of people's intelligence on their brain anatomy when there are other, clearer, ways to make the same judgements
Okay. For future reference, "biotruth" suggests (i.e. first google result is) "misunderstood notions of human biology and/or evolutionary psychology to justify heinous, ignorant, and/or bigoted views".
Like how porn makes me want to rape people and video games make me want to murder people.
not you, but other people maybe. pretending that media has no effect on a society because you personally don't feel like you've been affected by it is silly
Saying people who are naturally attracted to children is weird is like saying people who are naturally attracted to people of the same sex is weird. They don't have a choice.
i don't get why you don't just let them get off to drawings for 5 minutes and then back to normal life. i mean, it's just a sexual desire. child molesters, ...
If legalizing real child porn reduces the number of times children are abused, how is that not a good thing? Hell, if we can work toward only having soft porn of children, and still satisfy all the pedos out there, that would be great if you ask me. Banning something only creates a desire, so i am for regulating. You obviously can argue that children will be forced to pose naked, but how does that even compare against children getting raped? It doesn't.
What about the children's rights?
