She was drunk, it takes NOTHING to tip a person over if they're drunk enough, the officer might have gone at her with that much force behind it because he didn't know she was drunk. Either way it doesn't look like that big of a deal to me, what was he supposed to do different, just follow her wagging his finger saying "hey stop now, hey, hey stop!"?

Reminds me of this 1 video of about 30 policemen beating the fuck out of a black person laying on the ground.

Except that wasn't a body-slam at all, he was almost as off-balance as the girl.
The cop didn't even say stop or gave her some kind of reasonable warning, he just assumed she was going to run away.
And that's why they are the punk ass police.

I'm pretty much certain that the officer did not intend to knock her on the ground like that. He didn't actually take a good tackling pose, which made him look like this afterwards. He too almost falls on his face but he puts his hand up on the wall to stop himself.

I think his first intention was to run up and grab her by the arms. Then, at the very last second, she turned to her left and his left arm went by her, sending him off balance.

Then to top it all off, when he lost balance, he ran into her, and his feet caught on hers:

So, if anything, it was an accident. At the same time, officers are definitely trained in takedown methods that do not result in this. I'd say he definitely needs another qualifier(and possible a PT check? I think he was off balance before he was 5 feet behind her, which is why he didn't slow down. At all.). But I'm sure Phoenix PD will give him a reasonable decision. In the end it shouldn't have happened.

He didn't mean to slam her, What he was trying to do was to grab her and bring her into the wall face first so it would've been easier to arrest her, he didn't notice that she was drunk, He was called in for an assault charge and to detain the person.
He came at her with the intention of grabbing, he didn't notice she was drunk, as she turned about she lost her footing [B]before[/B] the officer even touched her, causing her to trip backwards causing the officer to fuck up and accidentally slam her into said wall then the pavement, you can see that he made a mistake is that he tried to go forward and believed the woman (turning her head) would've braced for impact rather than suddenly fall over, there was less than a second to react and he couldn't have stopped that fast.

He most likely was saying it the entire time and she could have been telling him to fuck off, being drunk and all. Seriously the video is too blurry so unless there was somebody on FP there or another clearer video, I don't see the problem here.
