The technical term for this is "confirmation bias".
Nobody knows if Trump will be beneficial for the economy/job market in the long run, but current signs are pointing towards "no".

You guys know that companies thank trump for ~literally nothing~ because they know he can be bought with WORDS, right?
They all know he's a gullible dude who loves having his ego stroked, and they're playing your boy like a fiddle. Gonna add a few hundred jobs, take hundreds of millions in tax breaks, then automate everything anyway, just like carrier.

In what fucking world can you say "oh he's already making jobs!"??? Have you considered that the jobs that are coming in have [I]absolutely 100% nothing to do with him whatsoever[/I] ?
