No one's actually referring to their "personal/private beliefs" when they say, for example, "Not surprised it was a Muslim who did this robbery!" they're talking about their race and ethnicity. Its used incorrectly sure, but that doesn't mean that since its incorrectly used its not racist anymore.

I never claimed that, but in the city I live in, and especially the neighborhood I live in, is full of immigrants - and alot of the loud/unbehaving minorities at that. As I said I'm fine with them immigating and co-existing with us, but it's not fine when they start trashing everything. And yet again: Not all of them do that, but there are the loud ones that do, which gives them a generally bad appearance.

Of course there are cool and kind people ones, but they are so few and far between over here you tend to overlook them.

It's not just muslims really, it's just the general attitude that a lot of immigrants from that part of the world (arabs, somalians etc.) seem to have in Sweden. And it really ruins it for the nice ones. My dad is an immigrant, I ain't even white so don't be judgin' The thing is, when people in sweden talk about "immigrants" a lot of the time they're only talking about the bad ones. So the word has gotten kind of a bad ring to it.
