The Kremlin has a youtube channel. That makes it 5 times better than the White House.
The White house has a Youtube channel.
Russia doesn't have a 14 trillion dollar debt. Its economy is also improving whilst yours is on a sharp decline.
You really are a Russian nationalist. It's quite funny.
Let's go back to an earlier time of happiness.
You really are a Russian nationalist. It's quite funny.
...He lives in Israel.
...He lives in Israel.
I'll assume he has some sort of connection with Russia. In every single thread dealing with Russia he comes flying in in a blaze of glory waving a Russian flag and defending its every action.
Let's go back to an earlier time of happiness.
This whole thing strikes me as hilarious. "Hey, Mr. President of Russia, we're Americans! Let's go and have an all-American Burger because we're America!"
Because thats what started the cold war.
"If you're gonna hide under your shield then I'm gonna hide under MY shield BETTER." "Oh yeah well I have TWO shields now." "Bitch I just got FOUR."
Last time I checked we didn't have any money either.
We don't. Our credit card just has a bigger spending limit.
Would it be a good idea to prepare a fall out shelter in case Medvedev decides to flip a shit?
He's not that insane. [sp]I hope[/sp]
Good, remove the stupid missile shield, this isn't a Cold War anyone and you idiots aren't going to use it anyway.
Russia doesn't have a 14 trillion dollar debt. Its economy is also improving whilst yours is on a sharp decline.
Just a really, really high level inflation compared to other current industrialized and developing nations and a reverse in capital flows which has, at least for a while, obliterated all hopes of any major economic growth, that's subsequently caused a bunch of investors to pull out of the country since their 2008 financial crisis (which is still not over and stemmed from our 2007 woes). Not only has their economy not been improving, it's been declining worse than ours has. And we've finally gotten to the point where we're stagnant, neither growing nor declining. Which, compared to where we were, is a good thing. Now begins the recovery process for us. Therein lie the reasons why so many of their citizens want the hell out of there and are immigrating to Europe and the United States. Not even touching on their serious problems with political corruption and crime (that, to an extent, tie into this matter), of course.
i have to cut them some slack if there was a war i wouldn't want American's missiles any were near my assets. And if we do finishing installing the shield, Russia will be significantly weaker because it cant deploy and Long Range/Med range missiles to help forward the country in battle.
destruction of the missle silos would fuck with the americans however. and we all know of the spetnaz, What about russia spec ops now?
Cold War II.
The sequel's always worse. v:v:v
ITT: Internet Professors in International Relations
well uh I'm pretty sure quite a few of us have studied IR at a tertiary level but thanks for delegitimizing everything everyone says [editline]25th November 2011[/editline]
its not like we can destroy our own sats with our missiles :v:
uh actually you do because destroying anyone else's satellites would be a profoundly stupid idea
Oh, hey, I get to live under the threat of russian nukes obliterating the country just as my parents did! YAY! /sarcasm Come on Russia, don't be stupid. That missile defense system isn't there because of you, it's there because it's a good, strategic position to intercept missiles from anyone on that chunk of the world.
It's the cold war again but this time neither country has any glory or money
Cold(because we cant afford the heating bill) War 2.
how about you actually sign the damn contract so everyone's mind is put at ease. is it really that hard
Communism is a buzzword in the political front and has often been used to directly oppose multiple bills that lean even a little bit towards socialism or something similar. (At least thats what I see, may be wrong, sue me.) Now imagine attempting to get these same people to sign a contract with the people who coined the term in the first place.
Russia does not want this missile shield because it gets rid of deterrence and MAD.
I think it's funny that some people still think Russia is the big evil in this case while the US changed the plans after they discussed them and Russia said they would allow them to take place.

Poland and Albania seem to be doing alright oddly enough.
Therein lie the reasons why so many of their citizens want the hell out of there and are immigrating to Europe and the United States.
for fuck sake do I have to argue with this in every fucking thread?? net migration in the Russian Federation is 250,000 - that is, they gain 250,000 citizens per year 50,000 citizens emigrate per year THE SAME AMOUNT OF AUSTRALIA, EVEN THOUGH OUR POPULATION IS SEVEN TIMES SMALLER [editline]26th November 2011[/editline] And that most metrics place australia as a really fucking great place to live

Russia? Might've misunderstood, but what are you talking about.
