As a game and as a series it's failed seriously, but as it's intended to be used for (going online and killing people) it suffices. I mean, any reasonable person will get bored of it in almost no time, but I've been playing this game for the past few months and it's done a good job of allowing me to kill people so. Take from it what you want.

It's funny how considering this game series is now a recycled mess, little kids and chavs will continue to buy these games even after what they've seen of the previous games. Then I suppose forking out £50 for some MOAR MULTIPLAYER IS WORTH IT YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

I am clinging to the faint hope that there will be a new CoD that will be like the original Modern Warfare. I love that game so much... I'll buy it anyway, because of the mild fanboy i am, and i want to test for my self on how good it is...

Quite frankly I prefer treyach over IW anyday, so I'm going to be buying this despite the FP bandwagon full of "kewl of dooy is bad xd". Treyach are unique, try new things, make new things and fix things that exist. If there is any COD developer that isn't a massive pig to their customers it is Treyach. If treyach were independent they would be cooler but under activision's tight regulations on dosh that isn't the case. Oh and seeing as treyach have done more than COD is a better pick too.

Well hopefully Treyarch will try something different this time like they did before. I loved the customization in Black Ops and it's a big reason that I play it over MW3 and the other CoDs. My friend bought MW3 for me, so I tried it and it's not that bad, the only real problem is all the hackers that plague the game. However this can be fun when you have hackers on both teams.

If Treyarch had optimized Black Ops better I could have ran it on this poor rig like I do WaW. Maybe in the future we'll see an independant Treyarch.

Black Ops was meh and MW2 defiantly didn't live up to the expectations set by the series, but as games alone they weren't horrible. But regardless, it seems Activision finds new ways to squeeze money out of your skin and the developers budget every time, including slashing development time, laying off essential workers and adding costly features. [B]That's[/B] what's been so frustrating to me about the recent CoD games personally. There seems to be an inevitable decline in quality accompanied by a rise in price.

The only Call of Duty that was good after the World War 2 ones was CoD4. The maps, the weapons, the minimal amount of Bullshit cluttering the screen. It was great. And they were like Hey, we can turn this into a FPS version of Madden! I would still rather play CoD4. Hell most of MW2 and 3 is in CoD4 anyway

Interesting. I did like the emblem editor from Black Ops, I hope there's some sort of fancy re imagining of that in this one.

Hey guys I have some more info : they're gonna release another CoD in november 2013 and they probably will for the next 30 years. I also find it totally ironic that these aren't getting boycotted for their frequent releases and similarities between the games much like l4d2 was

Meh, I liked the single player, and the ending was pretty awesome (although they should just go out and admit it was written by M Knight Shyamalan). And the zombies mode was pretty decent, although it'll probably cut and paste stuff from [del]MW3[/del] [del]MW2[/del] [del]CoD4[/del] CoD3.
