I rated you dumb because you're overrating.
and I don't hate CoD, heck i'm playing it right now:

A lot of us dislike CoD for legitimate reasons, just a lot of people don't bother to write an essay about it because it's no secret why the newer CoD games are bad from a design and production point of view.
Alright, but from my point of view everytime I go into a CoD thread I expect a shitstorm about half of the people in it screaming stupid puns and saying they hate it for no apparent reason or they hate it for completely invalid reasons, while the other half tries to discuss about it like a normal video game, and what do I see? Exactly that, and it's tiring

If it upsets you to see people getting so bothered about it, why don't you just stay out of the CoD threads? I mean, you've already said that it's inevitable, so why do it to yourself.
I have completely given up on AAA shooters.
Tribes ascend anyone?

I enter them to read what's in the headlines about CoD because I'm genuinely interested in what's next for the series every year, and it's usually only the threads in Sensationalist Headlines I enter, when I'm done reading that I want to scroll down and atleast TRY finding any hint of actual discussion about the topic and not random bullshit, most of the time theres just pages of pages filled with said bullshit, I just get fed up with it every now and then

It's like McDonalds selling the double cheeseburger (MW series) and the chicken sandwich (BlackOps series) for a dollar each when in the end: it's the same exact cut-and-paste greaseball SHIT. And it's the fat, apathetic consumers who are paying a premium to digest food that has NO NUTRITIONAL VALUE but BARELY SUSTAINS LIFE.
This is all fine and dandy but then the fine dining restaurants who want to deliver a fresh, new experience and cuisine to the market get bought out or straight up robbed of income because the public's belly is already full with a load of RE-HASHED BULLSHIT.
They are forced to close down and never open again.
Do you see my parallel? The continued "cash-cow" that CoD has monopolized on is ruining the games industry.
fast forward to November:
"Breaking News! New COD Sequel dubbed "Black Ops 2" breaks international sales records again, the fourth Call of Duty release to do so!"
Why do people continue to buy this shit? Like seriously, the amount of elite subscription pre-orders made me sick
because people like it
your stupidity makes me sick

a cheeseburger and a chicken sandwich aren't the same thing
Well, it's Treyarch this time, so atleast it's gonna differ from MW3. (Hopefully)

I guess you've never eaten at McDonalds
They just keep shitting more games out for their fans. How long has MW3 been out already?
I guess you've never eaten at McDonalds
are you an idiot?
are you an idiot?
are you ignorant to the quality of food on McDonald's dollar menu?

People who say it's too soon are idiots. There is 2 year cycle between each game. WaW > blops > blops 2
Same as mw > mw2 > mw2
Two different teams are developing different branches of cod.
Innovation, woo!
How original. Let's just hope Treyarch doesn't run it into the ground like IW with MW.

Except the quality of those games usually don't exceed 6 month hackjobs. (especially IW until further notice)

i don't see any other big game developers suffering from the cash that Call of Duty is pulling in
theres plenty enough of game developers wether they're small or big that all get their fair deal of the cash even if one of them bring in metric shittons in a matter of weeks of their latest release, there will always be lots and lots of people interested in all game titles
*SIGH*
CoD used to be so good.
What the fuck happend.
I miss the old days of historical locations and weaponry.
I want to fight the Third Reich, I want to lock horns with Japan, not run around like a tactic00l idiot.

Thanks Activision for ensuring that every game on the market for years to come will be a generic FPS because they know it will sell
I didn't get MW3, but I might get this one. I actually really enjoyed Black Ops, both the single and multiplayer.
Call of duty 2k13
I never played any CoD apart from the first one and fourth one. Fourth one felt like massive degradation and they added some useless content to cover up this degradation, I mean the first one had med-kits! And CoD had actual expansions to the game.
I don't understand why they just stopped numbering the sequels from 5.
I'm ok with this. Black Ops is my favorite non-WW2 CoD. Just hope the PC version is optimized this time.
Except this isn't mw3 or IW...
same concept applies, it's still relevant
Atleast black ops was different unlike MW2 & MW3, I mean the training mode with bots was brilliant if you didn't have internet access or just wanted to play without glitchers, hackers and general idiots.
Ok activision, whats so "innovative" about it? If you don't wanna be made fun of, start dropping details.
