Wait so the bastard breached his contract and you idiots are defending him? Jesus christ, guys, it's called FOLLOWING THE RULES, be they the country, company or school rules you're supposed to abide them.
:( I hope for red stig. He'll go faster.
That was his Communist Cousin.
oh well kinda late but still that sucks The Stig was cool
Itt: people don't understand contracts
Itt: people don't understand contracts
Indeed. People, the assholes here not the BBC, nor Jeremy Clarkson, nor James may, but Ben Collins. He signed the contract saying that his identity as The Stig could not be revealed, otherwise he would be sacked. Yet, he just went ahead and wrote a bloody book!
:smith: Awww. Well, at least we have stigs african cousin and fat american cousin. But still, goddamnit BBC.
Lets be honest, he knew that he would be fired if he published the book. He was just annoyed about the fact that every other main member of Top Gear were making a huge profit from autobiographies and other books, so he decided to write his own. He'll probably get offers to appear on chat shows or something, talking about his time as the Stig and advertising his new book. Although I think that the way that the presenters are talking shit about him is completely over the top and childish, quite frankly. Especially from James May - he's acting as if the guy murdered someone or something, rather than write a book about being the Stig. I don't particularly see why everyone's getting so annoyed with him revealing his identity. So what? They'll find a new Stig, like they did before. It'll be something new for then next series, and Collins will be able to make some more money and be happy with the fact that he's allowed to write a book about his experiences as the Stig - which Top Gear fans will buy and read, making him the money that he missed out on because of the BBC's stupid contract.
Damn that sucks.. Now I have to throw away my t-shirt saying 'I AM THE STIG'..

He could've left the show in a dignified way and then gone on to sell his book respectfully, but instead he decided to be selfish and generate a lot of publicity by bringing it all out in a rather scandalous way.
Damn that sucks.. Now I have to throw away my t-shirt saying 'I AM THE STIG'..
Just get this one;
I want black Stig back.
Just get this one;
Get that but with a picture of Ben Collins underneath.
How is he a dick? Revealing his identity ruined the whole point of the stig. Couldn't he have just released the book under a pseudonim?
I know that, but it's the hypocrisy of calling him greedy. [editline]08:01PM[/editline]
Yes well it's kind of his job to be a dick. He's very good at it.
Right, but this is an honest opinion as opposed to being a dick just for the sake of it.
Oh fuck, he was writing a book about his experiences as a TV Star, fuck we can't let him do this!
he signed a legally binding contract promising not to do this.
He can drive a giraffe.
Quote of the fucking YEAR.
Hopefully they don't want to get a new one that has flame decals all over him. He'll go too fast and ruin the credibility of the time trials. Also, flamer stig has to be of korean or other oriental decent.
ex-SAS.
I really don't understand why people idolise 'the stig' or really give a shit either way
Not stiggy! Bah, top gear is canceled in US, They are dead to me anyway
Some say he's writing a book, all we know, is that he's getting the sack.
What a bunch of douche bags, as soon as he leaves they fucking talk shit about him. I have truly lost a lot of respect for Clarkson and James May.
None of them knew he was making a book, ready to reveal who is, and kind of betrayed them. [editline]02:04PM[/editline] He broke a contract, and got sacked because of it, end of.
Fuck you, James May is awesome!
Oh cock, He is pretty awesome actually.
[img_thumb]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v356/GummyPanties/OhCock.png[/img_thumb]
Ahhh, that gave me a good laugh :v:
Top gear was never good, with or without the Stig.
Top gear was never good, with or without the Stig.
What, Topgear is pretty much the only interesting show about cars.
Top gear was never good, with or without the Stig.
We are completely different people.
I heard that one time the stig punched down a horse.
Oh well, I never watched Top Gear anyway. Clarkson is so fucking annoying that at times, I honestly would like nothing more than to stomp on his smug-arse face. And I don't see why the BBC were trying so hard to stop this from leaking out, seriously, the shit-storm they kicked up you'd think knowing the Stig's identity would cause a National Security crisis or something.
