yeah, it's cool, but at least have more than a few things and more time per update.
But the iPad did revolutionize tablets. Pretty much all the tech companies started to try and out-do the iPad, which led for a change in the market. As said before, before the iPad tablets were barely-functional, heavy, restive screen windows systems.
Yeah I really think they are heading in the wrong direction with this "iPad is a games console" bullshit.
Razer doesn't.
Open source.

Jailbreak.
inb4 "oh but you shouldnt have to!"
The only tablet that makes sense to me is the Asus Padphone.

But it's (still) only a tech demo, so I'd just wait and see what Asus does with that concept.
I wanted to get an android tablet soon, but now I think I'll wait a couple months so samsung and etc can play catch up.

I admit, Apple does do a lot of good, but they have a lot of ego, a little way too much.
A new idea is good, then they keep remixing the idea VERY slightly and call it "the most awesome shit you'll but ever"
Yes, we get it, the first version was great, go jerk off in the corner about it please, stop doing it wherever you damn please.

oh but you shouldnt have to!
Joking, I'm biased as hell, and it's all a matter of perspective.
faze do you post apple news just to complain about it?
faze do you post apple news just to complain about it?
see: android general chat thread title
And people will still buy it despite them just having bought the iPad 2
Open source.

You really haven't proven anything. Being 'open source' has got to be the most useless argument I've ever heard. No average person or small time techie bothers to edit the software that powers the operating system of their tablet or computer. That, and Android itself isn't really open source The Linux core may be, but most of the stuff that makes Android Android is closed source along with proprietary software depending on the device, like HTC sense. There's a reason why Apple has to apply to courts for Android code in lawsuits, because that part isn't available to everyone. You will never see the source code from Android 3 and up unless google starts to feel really generous.
Tablet's really aren't limited by their software or operating system. Both can be jailbroken/rooted to allow for third party applications on the stock OS. The reality is that a iOS tablets can do almost everything Android tablets can do. There may be a few things a Techie could put on their tablets, but there's nothing your average user can't accomplish on either one. It's all a matter of choice and which Operating system you prefer. And the reality is, the iPad is one of the best, if not the best delivery of a tablet experience.
I'd love to see that change, just because of their horrid pricing scheme, but there's no reason to hate iOS or the iPad, not yet anyways. Android tablets come just as locked down as iOS tablets, and both suck until you jailbreak/root them for the best experience.
I welcome the iPad 3 just because of that display. A screen more complex than what your eye can see is incredible. Especially at that size.
faze do you post apple news just to complain about it?
He's the definition of a fanboy.
Even other Android users hate him for it.
How? Hardware wise, it blows every Android tablet out of the water.
The resolution alone is really fucking impressive.
I'll take proper 16:9 1080p on the new transformer prime.
You sure must love those letterbox borders!
Apple could do so much better...
Are you serious?

Jailbroke my iPhone a year ago, use it every day, never had a single crash.
Friend has a Galaxy S, crashes at least 3 times a day.

My friend's HTC [insert name here] crashes when you swipe your finger around the screen for a few seconds.

Yeah sure just wait another 12 months and keep some nice tech behind for absolutely no reason other than to make more time between updates.
My Xoom browser randomly freezes. The music app stutters sometimes. etc etc
Stop acting like Android is better in every way because it's more open, it's not. I can't even remember the last time an app crashed or froze on my iPod, and I haven't had to reboot it since I last had to update it

If open source software was as amazing as Android fans proclaim it is, companies wouldn't spend thousands of dollars on specialized software solutions to do their work.

Don't get me wrong, I still prefer Android because I can do a lot more with it, but just because I have a preference for something doesn't mean I can't point out what the alternative does better.
android is a laggy fuck, iOS is a super limited worthless fuck
my body is ready for windows 8

Laggy on old versions and on shit phones, sure. ICS is perfectly smooth. Smooth as a baby's butt.

When we see a proper tablet running Metro UI, I'll definitely buy it.

Android is much better at being a phone.

So then explain performance issues on my 1.5GHz Xoom running a custom ICS rom with an overclocked kernel.

TBH I think WP7 holds that throne, just nobody uses it

I'm on Thor's ROM on my Acer Iconia A500, no lag issues at all. Not even overclocking. Dunno what your problem is without looking at it. Probably the ROM or your configuration.

Maybe it's because Android is inherently slower than iOS since it's basically one giant Java app. All I know is that it's much less stable than my iPod and noticeably slower.

My Nexus S is running ICS perfectly at 1.1Ghz too. The only issue I have is ZPlayers music playback thread being culled due to RAM constraints, the dev is fixing the issue, however.

I plugged it in and pressed "Jailbreak" wrong?
How exactly do you do that?
