.....fuck.
Uh..the comic is making fun of thinking that science will backfire everytime
I was close enough.
Just the title of this thread sounds fucking awesome!
Are human labrats needed? I'm all in for that.
Think of the possibilities! Brain Implants in our lifetime!
Think of the possibilities! Brain Implants in our lifetime!
"10TB SanDisk Brain Implant, please."
"10TB SanDisk Brain Implant, please."
10TB of porn, in my mind! Porn wherever and whenever i want!
Still, all this stuff about mechanizing the brain would leave it vulnerable to certain attacks; things like an EMP, or worse a computer virus. The risks are there, and sometimes improving oneself brings about risks that one sometimes has to take. I think the risk of being knocked out by a microwave blast could still be worth having a high-tech data storage implant installed.
You're supposed to be our emperor, why do you always welcome new overlords?! :v:
If I give in to an over powering force peacefully, I get a fiefdom of my own to restart :v:
Let's hope they manage to fix any potential rejection issues, since the body sometimes rejects foreign materials.
Hey, dunno if I'm late but the brain is extremely forgiving regarding foreign tissue/material
How many roborats does it take to destroy ME? The answer in they cannot.
Are human labrats needed? I'm all in for that.
I really wouldn't want to do that
You could overlay PORN on PEOPLE. [editline]6th October 2011[/editline]
Hey, dunno if I'm late but the brain is extremely forgiving regarding foreign tissue/material
It's very sensitive to infection but adapts well to new input because it's plastic. Fake EDIT: As in, neuroplastic.
I really wouldn't want to do that
But I can get TECHNO STUFF inside my cranium! Who wouldn't want that?!
Anyone want a HUD?
I'd like a HUD. Yeah. A HUD that shows me exactly the right position to reach that fucking scratch on my back that I can never get.
Did the rat ask for this, though?
The cerebellum, which is responsible for coordinating movement, effectively restored the animal's ability to move.
If they learned how to read the brain wanting to move a limb, does this mean we are getting closer to implants that can bypass spinal injuries allowing people to walk again? Unless I am understanding this wrong.
Did the rat ask for this, though?
Getting old now...
Getting old now...
What a shame.
id rather put my human brain in a robot body and have the strength of five gorillas
What a shame.
Sorry, but being around the gaming section and LMAO, I've heard that alot.
Another trojan horse! The Cybrids are everywhere!
IT BEGI-... well, okay, it started awhile back. ...IT CONTINUES!
Sorry, but being around the gaming section and LMAO, I've heard that alot.
You certainly didn't ask for this.
id rather put my human brain in a robot body and have the strength of five gorillas
But then you couldn't pet any kittens because you would crush them!
