It's not Israel suing Facebook, it's some random guy in the US who's probably JIDF or something. It's just a stupid lawsuit brought forward by a crazy guy, not anything official.
Most of them aren't even antisemitic, just when its anti-Israeli, TheJIDF begins to panic and sends an e-mail to thousands of its 'virtual troops' to all report the page, pressuring Facebook to remove it.
If that fails, they usually just hack the group and dismantle it from the inside. They refer to this as "seizing control of the anti-Israeli group" which is an attempt to water it down.
My friends group was hacked by them as well.
Same applies with YouTube.
In other worlds, people are dip shits that will worry about the TINIEST LITTLE ITSY BITSY little thing that has utterly no concern for THEM because the subtlest of hints of something stupid.
Yes, and legally loss or injury can come about through the torts. It doesn't mean physical injury.

Well then there's nothing legally wrong with what they're doing.
I assumed you thought it was only due to physical injury because of what you were highlighting.
What did they lose or what injured them?

But according to the law of torts, or whatever they're actually suing under, they may be entitled to damages due to something they've done.
The simple definition of damages is the one you have posted, however legislation may make someone entitled to damages.
Addendum: I never said it's an acceptable lawsuit.
