You will have to go through a NASA training program. That's mean you will have to become a straight edge. Its a miss for me.

Good luck volunteering, you need to be a borderline superhero to do anything associated with NASA. If you've ever done non-spectacularly on anything ever academically or are not in peak physical condition it's out the window. He's right, though. Mars is a very attainable goal. You simply need to find an on-site source of oxygen and a suitable space to burrow below ground.

I won't mind going, I have no illness or anything but I would love to be one of the first people on Mars.

I'm not sure if i would go, would be pretty damn awesome living on another planet, but even know earth sucks, i would definitely miss it.
