i dont even understand why it was wrong for hillary to apologize about the video in the first place
anti-muslim shit has been historically recorded in causing riots and massive unrests
Supposedly she knew it was a real attack and lied about it. And if she didn't know, certainly the Secretary of State she should have known.
Jesus Christ why being so abrasive; He gives you a valid opinion and you personalty attack him
it'd be like if I said "I didn't really have an opinion, but then I saw that ad where the parents of the disabled child were sad that Trump made fun of the disabled reporter and I literally started crying. How can anyone be so cruel?"
if all it takes for you to go from neutral to hardline on a political issue is one fucking sob story then you're a fucking pigeon
if your opinion is determined solely by what you hear from one side of the discussion period then you're a fucking pigeon
I mean who fucking cares if what she said wasn't right, she was so sad! Sad people are never wrong!

The thing is there is no facts that we the people can believe due to the corrupt and compicated nature of the Clintons, FBI, and that investigation period. So, in some cases, feelings are the only thing you can connect with.
but go ahead, call people fucking pigeons
Yeah, I guess anyone who doesn't vote for the establishment's horse in the race is just so damn gullible, right?
there are plenty of fucking gullible ignorant morons on clinton's side too
I hate both fucking parties. I hate both fucking candidates. They're both scum. It's just that one is incompetent, retarded scum, and the other is conniving, out of touch scum.

If 8 hearings by Republicans targeting her still can't uncover anything to implicate her I'd say that's not enough evidence.

You know what you do in the absence of reliable evidence? You suspend judgement. You don't draw conclusions.
Drawing conclusions based on no evidence is called being a fucking idiot.
if you had a conservative / right wing mindset before voting for trump, its easy to see why you're voting for trump or sympathize with his views

how are we supposed to understand that
What you're not getting is "I hate the establishment" is a big reason why people flocked to Bernie and why a lot of people supported Trump. Yeah the policies might be different but the big issue for those voters remain the same, but that's not to say Trump supporters couldn't tolerate Bernie's policies. I'm voting for Johnson, but I can still identify both with Bernie's policies and with Trump, despite both having "big government" elements that would be precisely what I wouldn't want if I were a staunch libertarian. I'm not.
It's plainly obvious that this board is chock full of single-minded zealots who can't even fathom why people can empathize with somebody that's different than them.

It's just that one is incompetent, retarded scum, and the other is conniving, out of touch scum.
You don't need to tell me that twice, I agree, but it's disingenuous to call him gullible when he's given you a good reason for his decision. Ignoring the conjecture being fired at Trump, Hillary, or who the fuck ever for a moment, Trump's promises fit in with what he wants.
You know what you do in the absence of reliable evidence? You suspend judgement. You don't draw conclusions.

And accepting shady evidence as fact and as a tool to talk down to people is just being an ignorant asshole
Actually regardless on who is right, being a bully about personal political opinions is not a very mature thing to do
I don't see how him losing the primary suddenly makes you hate him though, it has no bearing on his proposed policies.
I didn't hate him after he lost.
I hated him when he bowed down to the very person he was against.

The DNC deserves to lose this election. Don't get me wrong, Trump would be a worse president than Clinton, but the way they have run this campaign and the convention itself thus far has been nothing short of a travesty. Terrible decision on top of terrible decision in attempt to secure a nomination that was more than likely going to be Hillary's anyway.
I didn't hate him after he lost.
I hated him when he bowed down to the very person he was against.
surely if you understand the reasons why he was against hillary clinton you'd understand the reasons he's against trump even more, it's beyond compare
The party of Unity that requires its delegates to hand over their Bernie signs. This is going to look terrible.

That's messed up.
I didn't hate him after he lost.

He is against Trump a whole fucking lot more.
I didn't hate him after he lost.
I hated him when he bowed down to the very person he was against.
Which like I said, has nothing at all to do with his policies, platform, or anything that would actually matter besides making him a good politician.
You're voting solely on cult personality and charisma.
You don't need to tell me that, but it's disingenuous to call him gullible when he's given you a good reason for his decision. His reasoning is why he's gullible. He could be supporting a perfect godlike being with a perfect and proven record of bringing peace and prosperity to everything it touches and he would still be fucking gullible if those were the reasons he supported it.
His reasoning is why he's gullible. He could be supporting a perfect godlike being with a perfect and proven record of bringing peace and prosperity to everything it touches and he would still be fucking gullible if those were the reasons he supported it.
Why are you getting so riled up at someone's reason to support something? It doesn't promote a healthy discussion, especially when you call people fucking idiots and pigeons and whatnot.
surely if you understand the reasons why he was against hillary clinton you'd understand the reasons he's against trump even more, it's beyond compare
He doesn't. He doesn't understand policy. He is mad as hell and is going with the most popular non-establishment choice and has ingested GOP propaganda hook line and sinker regarding Benghazi.
But we aren't allowed to say that because it's too mean, his "valid opinions" (read: outright lies) should be respected, because like Trump himself, Trump supporters can dish out the memes and the bantz and the insults but when you turn it back on them they turn into jello.

[editline]25th July 2016[/editline]
Wait, that comment this chick said about "ground zero" and running toward it...
She is aware that Hillary lied through her goddamn teeth about that, right?
I guess the Bernie supporters got tired because they're not loudly booing this shilling for Hillary.
Well at least you changed your tune when presented with overwhelming evidence, but I have to admit it's a little frustrating to have you tell me I'm just being unreasonable/crazy several times when I've said the party is corrupt and it was rigged from the start.
I haven't changed my tune at all. I assumed the DNC would be pulling for Clinton out of the gate as she was the establishment choice while Sanders was someone who wanted to ride out being an Independent through his career then jump on the Democratic ticket when it was convenient.
I still think you're unreasonable to compare Clinton to Trump.
Hillary Clinton
And accepting shady evidence as fact and as a tool to talk down to people is just being an ignorant asshole
Actually regardless on who is right, being a bully about personal political opinions is not a very mature thing to do
I'm sorry, I didn't realize I was in a safe space. I'm so sorry for being such a mean bully.
Let me just take a minute to figure out how to rephrase "I think you're a gullible moron because you're willing to, without reservation, change what you believe based on completely substanceless emotional manipulation from an evidently biased source"
I don't know this might take a while
I still think you're unreasonable to compare Clinton to Trump.
... They're the two major candidates in the election, who the fuck else do I compare them to?
I guess the Bernie supporters got tired because they're not loudly booing this shilling for Hillary.
Apparently whips have been put in place around the loudest sections of them to stop them from yelling. Looking for sources to substantiate.
Why are you getting so riled up at someone's reason to support something? It doesn't promote a healthy discussion, especially when you call people fucking idiots and pigeons and whatnot.
The only one not promoting healthy discussion here is you, rushing to the defense of someone who's logic is being questioned on a fucking message board.

im not talking to people who solely identifies with the 'anti-establishment no matter what, fuck policies', im talking to the people that identified with sander's progressive platform then switches to trump who has absolute opposite platform
i fanthom, i just say its fucking stupid.
I didn't hate him after he lost.
I hated him when he bowed down to the very person he was against.
he didn't 'bow down', he pushed the fucking party to the left, paved way for future progressive policies & elections, and doing everything to make sure his ideological opposite doesn't get elected which would collapse everything he has worked so hard for
why cant you understand that or address this point
do you really think bernie sanders is some sort of delusional child that is willing to divide a party when the supreme court vacancy is at stake? healthcare at stake? immigrants? lgbtq?
do you really think he wants to give that over to trump and his party instead of having the viable party can that is becoming more progressive?
Whether you like it or not, the real fact is people VOTE with feelings, not with facts, it has always been this way and will always be this way. People form connections with everything emotional, that's why they show those really sad cats and dogs on those adopt animals commercials and shit. The democratic side does it too, in fact I would say the liberals are way more known for pandering to feelings over facts. So before you accuse people of being ignorant, or ingesting propaganda, or just being wrong; take a moment to get off your high horse and accept the fact that anyone should be allowed an opinion, even if its based on feeling, without being name-called and ostracized
anyways, I didn't mean to contribute the derailing of the thread with my own feelings.
... They're the two major candidates in the election, who the fuck else do I compare them to?
Compare them in the sense that they are both equally bad candidates.
Apparently whips have been put in place around the loudest sections of them to stop them from yelling.
lmao completely unsurprising, I'd get kicked out and make a big fucking scene as they dragged away.
Between the convention and the shit in the emails this entire election feels like it's pulled from the plot of some cyberpunk novel.

Why is this man speaking Spanish?

Okay but what if that opinion is based on bad data? What if it's not an opinion but a regurgitation of false propaganda? Why is pointing it out bad? Why do Trump supporters get this aegis on Facepunch that prevents people from calling out their bullshit?
