Holy fuck, who is approving these speeches?
Yeah, I like the way it sounds. You asked for a position I like and that's one, but again I don't think he can do it effectively so I'm not voting for him. Trying to use that to pigeonhole me into a Trump supporter isn't going to work.
I'm not trying to pigeonhole you into a Trump supporter I'm trying to get you to think critically about why just trusting someone (particularly someone with a history of quick, radical changes of opinion) to do a thing you want them to do when you aren't even sure that thing is entirely warranted. A president could do a lot of damage under the auspices of "cutting wasteful spending".
Holy fuck, who is approving these speeches?
A #BernieorBust plant apparently.
Why shouldn't America be part of NATO? That'd lose America a ton of military support and AID in the case of any war and would likely mean Europe would be neutral at best in any future conflict. It's very much against your interests.
Literally the only argument for backing away from NATO is economic and that completely misses the point because NATO isn't supposed to be an economic agreement, it's a defense one. I think countries should pay their fair share but I will not vote for a presidential candidate who tells the world we wouldn't honor our obligations as part of a defense treaty.
It's an important demographic that enjoys a lot of influence in the Democratic party, what's pandering about it? [editline]25th July 2016[/editline] Are you mad that latinos despise Trump?
No I'm mad that the Democrat's plan to secure latino votes is to say that they can bring their family and friends across the border with no consequence and we will take care of everyone rather than saying you became an American and should want to give back to the country for the opportunity.
I'm not trying to pigeonhole you into a Trump supporter I'm trying to get you to think critically about why just trusting someone
I don't trust that someone, I thought I made that clear.
Gonna need a source on this lady's claims for Trump University
Gonna need a source on this lady's claims for Trump University
If only we had live fact checking for literally every moment of the RNC.

This fucking lady, holy shit. I'm worried she's going to have a heart attack.

I just tuned in. What the fuck is this promo.
I just tuned in. What the fuck is this promo.
Drugs are bad - vote Hillary, she knows.
That was my problem too after Sanders lost California last June. With Hillary and Trump left and no other option, what could I choose? I already knew Hillary was corrupt, and I wasn't a fan of Trump, but I was curious (and again, I didn't want to waste my vote). So I saw RIPBILLYMAYS posting about Trump in an SH thread and talked to him about it. Sometimes you just gotta pick with what's left after your good hand busts, then just go with it. Some folks go for Hillary because they don't like Trump. I'm going for Trump because I don't like Hillary.
the instinct to double down on a retarded decision when someone points out why it's retarded is a universal and strong one, but it can be overcome. just look at his policies on his own website: https://www.politiplatform.com/trump he wants to eliminate the death tax. he wants to reduce taxes on the rich. he wants to line the pockets of every single one of his crony businessman friends. he wants to "turn off parts of the internet" because of ISIS. please, please explain to me how more tax breaks for the rich will make things better for you
If only we had live fact checking for literally every moment of the RNC.
Hey I'm not claiming the RNC is innocent, and it got torn apart by the media afterwards anyway. I just want a source for the TrumpU claims that were just made
No I'm mad that the Democrat's plan to secure latino votes is to say that they can bring their family and friends across the border with no consequence and we will take care of everyone rather than saying you became an American and should want to give back to the country for the opportunity.
Really because I thought the plan to secure latino votes was to sit back and let Trump speak. It's hard to call it pandering when the GOP isn't seen as a realistic option for a lot of latino voters. Presumably the LGBT community is pandered to as well?
I don't trust that someone, I thought I made that clear.
You don't trust Trump specifically but you trust people who say they will cut wasteful spending.
I'd prefer if we scaled back our overseas presence greatly, so for me it doesn't conflict with my interests.
I'd argue isolationism conflicts with your interests in ways you don't notice
I'd prefer if we scaled back our overseas presence greatly, so for me it doesn't conflict with my interests.
How scaled back? American isolationism did not work back in the 20s and 30s and I don't think it'd work now. Now I personally don't like 'America as the police force of the world' but I think going away from your allies won't help the country in the slightest.
How do you think Trump will bring the jobs back?
It doesn't matter if he understands how, or even if it is possible, he just needs to believe in Trump. Oh, and be HIGH ENERGY. That seems to be pretty important for some reason.
It doesn't matter if he understands how, or even if it is possible, he just needs to believe in Trump. Oh, and be HIGH ENERGY.
Free college checked [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/TsT0kaK.png[/img_thumb]
You missed "white people are a problem" from about an hour ago
[editline]to clarify[/editline] Well, not entirely. I'm not married to the isolationist feelings I have, but I could be convinced to support the prospect of continued American membership in NATO if the cost sharing agreement was changed to increase the budget and put more focus on European force readiness rather than waiting for us to show up.
I agree and European forces have started to pay more and more due to the looming threats in our region. You can see that in 2014 it is insane how much America spent on NATO. Now 2 years later America is spending less and Europe is spending more together than ever.
You missed "white people are a problem" from about an hour ago
Ooh, so we are one punch-up away from a bingo then. And the first day ain't even over yet! Although we could also stripe off the ''speaker makes a terrible pun'' space, because one of the speakers literally quoted Dumbledore from the Harry Potter series. So another bingo if audio or video issues start happening.

If there's violence it will be during or after Bernie's speech [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/kXJSurq.png[/img_thumb]
Who's idea was it to invite DEMI FUCKING LOVATO to speak at the DNC?
Go from mental illness discussion to fucking pop songs
What the fuck is going on
What the fuck is happening right now.
