Well, for the Democrats sake, I hope something at this convention does something to bolster their numbers. I'm still voting third party, personally. If current polling trends continue, Trump will actually probably win.
The DNC has been a disaster of censoring support for someone who lost, unfavorable speakers, terrible music, angry Bernie Supporters, and Bernie himself literallry selling himself on stage to Clinton. On day one. And not even ending it with a gavel. Unless some weird space-time shit happens suddenly, Trump's gonna steal the whole thing. AND WE'RE NOT EVEN AT THE DEBATES YET!
This thread reminds me that Bernie or Bust people are 'ridiculous' as Silverman would say I am disappointed that Bernie lost but hoping that Clinton beats Trump so that we don't take healthcare away from millions and don't rip millions of latinx families apart.
Yeah, if they're illegals, they deserve to be "ripped away." It being sad for them isn't a reason to give people a pass on breaking the law. I can't wait for it, personally.

I don't know anymore, I really don't want to vote Hillary, but I don't want Trump elected at all
Hillary has ammo against Trump in their debates too: his lack of any substance.
Really? I don't think there was a single candidate within this election that had more skeletons to conceal than Hillary.
Really? I don't think there was a single candidate within this election that had more skeletons to conceal than Hillary.
Bitch was a mortuary tbh
Hillary has ammo against Trump in their debates too: his lack of any substance.
"no substance" and sound bites vs. demonstrable incompetence, lies under oath, rigging the system against your opponents, disregard for the safety of state secrets, etc. Which one do you honestly think is going to get looked at worse?
I don't know anymore, I really don't want to vote Hillary, but I don't want Trump elected at all
At this point it's either abstain or pick a side for your own reasons! I was originally going to hold my nose and vote Hilary, but after the recent scandals, I really don't want to validate such tactics. It feels like she is getting more emboldened to make whatever stupid, callous, and selfish decisions she wants and nobody can stop her because "NOT TRUMP." Like, I get that compromise is vastly important in politics and all, but this feels less like compromising and more like letting people get away with terrible choice making because we are too complacent to assert ourselves. It feels really slimy, like she is almost flaunting it at times. At this point, I might just vote third party. Yes, I know Trump is rising, but I don't want to support and validate collusion, censorship, social engineering, and suppression to such a heinous extent. Even with an ass-clown like Trump being the opposition, she still finds ways to make her presidency a bitter pill to swallow in what should have been a cakewalk of an election.
Lets face here folks You either throw away the vote, give it to a disgusting liar, or give it to a outsider who knows how to WIN states unlike a certain grandpa, and have a chance to CHANGE the cycle The choice is yours.

Good on you man.
Well, that's it. I'm out. I'm not voting this election cycle. I can't vote for Trump. Meanwhile, Sanders has climbed up on the back of a scorpion expecting not to get stung. All their compromises are going to die. When he and his supporters ask 'why' when they spent all that energy forcing themselves to vote for her, all she'll have to say for herself is "I can't help it, it's in my nature".
Lets face here folks You either throw away the vote, give it to a disgusting liar, or give it to a disgusting, racist, sexist, xenophobic, war-crime advocating, bullying, inexperienced, moronic, potentially dangerous liar. The choice is yours.
Fixed
Well, that's it. I'm out. I'm not voting this election cycle.
please please please please go vote still. just don't fill in the president. vote for congress or local stuff at least.
Lets face here folks You either throw away the vote, give it to a disgusting liar, or give it to a lying, racist, immature, insecure shyster who would be guaranteed to ruin America. The choice is yours.
Fixed that for you there, bud.

I still vote for the most progressive platform, without also voting for the most corrupt platform.
Well, that's it. I'm out. I'm not voting this election cycle.
Vote green, get them to 15% so they have to be acknowledged.
Fixed
I see you're going with the throwing it away option. Good on you, have fun with the consequences.
Lets face here folks You either throw away the vote, give it to a disgusting liar, or give it to a outsider who knows how to WIN states unlike a certain grandpa, and have a chance to CHANGE the cycle The choice is yours.
Your framing for trump is so vague that it can be used for Hillary as well. Knows how to win states? I'll throw my vote away.
I see you're going with the throwing it away option. Good on you, have fun with the consequences.
Nope, I'm going for the disgusting liar. Because even though she's a disgusting liar, she still represents the best chance for my ideologies to be realized.
Vote green, get them to 15% so they have to be acknowledged.
It's not going to happen. If the media can be manipulated to the extent that has become apparent, there's no point in even hoping. My hope is dead.
I'd rather have a corrupt politician than a fascist demagogue.
It's not going to happen. If the media can be manipulated to the extent that has become apparent, there's no point in even hoping. My hope is dead.
do it anyways if you aren't going to vote at all. Might as well try to secure 5% to keep them on the ballot in your state.
I'd rather have a corrupt politician than a fascist demagogue.
People keep using this word without understanding what it means. I am seriously trying to remain relatively impartial on this but there are a number of people that go out and say "literally Hitler".
I mean if we're going into the "X is a Fascist" mode, lets learn some facts and consider the following. I think some of it makes a lot of sense.
It's either legitimate worse career criminal since Nixon, or "Loud guy with 4 failed businesses"?
In this election, you vote for the party, not the candidate.
This thread reminds me that Bernie or Bust people are 'ridiculous' as Silverman would say I am disappointed that Bernie lost but hoping that Clinton beats Trump so that we don't take healthcare away from millions and don't rip millions of latinx families apart.
My vote in NY means literally less than dirt. I have the luxury to vote my conscience. I've had first hand experience with Hillary in our state. I was undecided going into the primaries. I did not like Hillary, but if she secured the nomination, and had ran a clean campaign, I was willing to vote for her. The DNC and HRC lost my vote through their own actions. To be frank, I dislike Trump just as much, if not more. Both candidates have been pretty pathetic this cycle, but Trump has that extra special layer of xenophobic, fear-mongering rhetoric thrown in. I understand the Sanders endorsement. I hope the Democrats can pull off a win, even if it's looking less likely every day. I just won't vote for them. Voting third party allows me to express my dissatisfaction with both candidates, while also making it clear that I don't support Trump's demagoguery. If that makes me ridiculous, I'm sorry.
People keep using this word without understanding what it means. I am seriously trying to remain relatively impartial on this but there are a number of people that go out and say "literally Hitler".
He's not literally Hitler, it's just that his rhetoric and policy are pretty fascist. Racial scapegoating, authoritarianism, restriction of free speech, intense jingoism, etc.
