Forgive my ignorance, but the convention determine which candidate can run up for the presidency right?
Well yeah, it's where the delegates do the final vote, but it's really a formality at this point.
At this point I don't care what system he builds because I am sick of the one we have currently.
When will people get out of this stupid mentality that anything different from the status quo is necessarily better. It isn't and this should be obvious.

Why do you think brexit went through?
Politicians with a vested interest in undermining established systems will manipulate the most gullible voters in an electorate directly in spite of experts across multiple fields saying that doing so is a terrible idea.
I for one am looking forward to hear Hillary Clinton speak to her voters again after so many months.
:what:

I love how the Twitch chat is in emote mode already, and the stream hasn't even begun yet.

Well Hillary needs to do something else than not speaking to her voters. I bet shes going to spam Kappa during chat all the time.

The idea that Trump is better than the current status quo is ludicrous, he wants change to go in the exact opposite direction that it should. I'd rather keep the current shitshow than literally regress a couple decades.
Unfortunately, the results for the California and New York primaries crushed that peaceful revolution. We're not going to get another chance for the next 4-8 years.
It's Chelsea's turn now!
It's Chelsea's turn now!
Oh yeah Chelsea "makes more with a campaign job than any of her friends" Clinton.
That's whats we need in a movement.

fuck presidential dynasties
Take a step back before Trump took over the election: the candidates were supposed to be fucking Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton. The connections the families made during their presidency are being used to close out other candidates because of name recognition and "after working with my brother/husband I know whats its like to ________...". Its solidifying an oligarchical system and its revolting.
People have talked about Ivanka, Eric, and Donald Jr. running campaigns in the future, and while I think they would be far more popular and likeable than The Don, hell maybe even better policy wise because they're younger, I don't want them running if Trump wins this year. The time for royal families ended a century ago, and the last thing I want to see is have it return.

I mean by your logic FDR should have never become President.
Political dynasties shouldn't be illegal. Obviously any corruption involved should be banned but I'll point out Hillary had a significant political career before she married. Has being associated with Bill helped? Of course. That doesn't win you elections - as Jeb Bush proved.
And by the way, if you would truly never vote for Trump's kids, you can be sure as hell that most Trump supporters wouldn't give a shit.

I'd vote for Trump's kids if they had a solid platform and if Trump lost the election.

presidential dynasties are not surprising considering america is full of dynasties all over the board
it takes a while to establish aristocracies, but america is developing one nonetheless. trump would largely be interested in founding his own dynasty - mainly because he could offload all of the work onto somebody else (like the VP) and then use his office as a sinecure
The DNC waiting music is already better than Kelly Clarkson and the other crap RNC put up before it.
Its the same two songs over and over again

I think she might be saying Isn't, that makes more sense to me at least, it's hard to tell though.
The greatest thing that is coming from all of this is seeing all the cocky as fuck Hillary supporters on twitter freaking out about party unity.

People wonder how anyone can say Clinton is a divider compared to Trump and yet she can't even unite her own party
The music though!
Sounds like that rock and or roll music that the kids are into.
