I've tried having a discussion in SH threads and all I get are people flaming me and labels like "because you support Trump you're a ___ and a ____".
Damn, look at all these mean bullies just pushin' us poor centipedes down!
Both conventions are media circuses meant to unify and mobilize party members within an echo chamber the size of a convention center
The difference is with the RNC we saw the party unite under Trump. With the DNC we saw everything non-Sanders praised and the Sanders supporters getting constantly shit on them.
vs McCain (Palin fucking killed him, or was the last nail, at least, in my mind),
That is exactly the reason why I didn't vote for him, he's an old guy who got beat to shit in a POW camp and I was like "what if he dies in office." Then I remembered Palin. [editline]27th July 2016[/editline] GAVEL: REMEMBERED
that was the best speech Obama has ever given
She didn't forget the gavel this time :v:
i wonder what would happen if they were denied recess light some fires, pitch some tents and camp out in the convention center?
i just heard behind the scenes that they're going to give joe biden a sex change and plastic surgery to look like clinton so he can give a speech for her

Then I remembered Palin. [editline]27th July 2016[/editline] GAVEL: REMEMBERED
Yeah, it was a legitimate concern for a lot of people. Seems like he turned out to be a tough old bastard in this timeline, but who knows what the presidency would have done to him. Probably could have withered it, but reaching for the women's votes with Palin was actual suicide, from what I can gather. I don't even want to begin to think what a US under her reign would look like. :v:
i wonder what would happen if they were denied recess light some fires, pitch some tents and camp out in the convention center?
We'll get stuck in between Tim Kaine rambling incoherently and THIS IS MY FIGHT SONG, IT'S MY LIFE SONG until we descend into madness and perish in an orgy of savage violence.
i just heard behind the scenes that they're going to give joe biden a sex change and plastic surgery to look like clinton so he can give a speech for her
He doesn't need the plastic work considering Hillary is haircut away from looking like my fucking grandpa anyway
carlos mencia's nerdy cousin is calling for god to go to hillaryclinton.com and see how he can help [editline]27th July 2016[/editline] "the bedrock... of love" Woah buddy.
I thought it was pretty funny last night when Elizabeth Banks (who I just loathe now, as if her bad acting wasn't reason enough) actually asked people to donate money to Hillary Clinton. The comic tragedy of people actually donating their hard-earned money to someone who accepts millions in campaign contributions from the highest echelons of finance, as if she needs the help.
He doesn't need the plastic work considering Hillary is haircut away from looking like my fucking grandpa anyway
Obama kind of reminds me of my grandpa a little bit, but he was very Native American instead of African American.
Nope it's true. It's very true, and I know it first hand.
Perhaps you've taken a look at your recent posts and maybe realized that's why people are calling you an idiotic Trumpster? Lets take a look at one of your recent posts and delve into it.
You're the one twisting my words. The bias is real here. But I stand firm because honestly I know nothing I say or do will appease you all. I could find all the sources and write a 5 post essay on why Trump is pretty much the better choice of this election, but none of you will ever accept it ever. And I know it. But I keep on like this because it's better than letting you all have the satisfaction of silencing me and going "gotcha" on your high horses, pretending you won the whole discussion, while really doing nothing but constantly blasting me for the reason of me wanting to vote for Trump. Meanwhile, while you all try to attack me, your DNC is failing miserably. While the RNC was order and unity, your DNC is heavily divided, with walls keeping angry Bernie supporters out of the building. While Trump smashed what was left of the "never Trump" movement, and displaces the GOP to make the Republican party popular and viable again, Hillary and the DNC has done nothing but shown how truly despicable it has become, in the name of "progress". They have thrown LGBT rights just to appease a hateful religion. They have thrown the police forces of America to appease a Black KKK. They have cheated their candidate over a man who worked his hand to the bitter bones to make this country better again, only to get chewed out by a rigged system. And what is all of your excuses to this truth? "Still better than Trump". If you're the silent majority out there lurking in this thread that wants to vote for Trump, I understand your silence, but understand that there are people like me who stand up to voice his opinion while keeping his composure. That there are brave folks who dare to stand against the majority and the bias here, because no proper discussion or debate should be one sided simply because they don't like the other side.
(For your convenience, I've highlighted the parts where you go completely insane.)
I just can't wait to see how yall react when my boy Trump wins this election cause Clinton can't keep a campaign afloat. Not like Trump is the best at that either, but he gets more votes with the further Clinton/Bernie supporters become dissatisfied. Clinton on the other hand has to fight to retain every vote.

I can tell you right now I'll laugh my ass off if Trump wins.
If Trump wins, I think Tumblr, Reddit, Facebook and Twitter will burn to the ground. SH will have more locked topics than broken locks in the Chicago Projects
Trump wont win after that speech. Obama just converted a million of folks.

Trump has an advantage in that there appear to be more reactionaries and stupid people in the United States than people capable of critical thinking. Being a reactionary idiot himself, he seems to have an advantage when it comes to the rhetorical key-jingling that needs to be done to win votes from them. It's a lot easier to slide back into the past than it is to try and move forward, especially when your other option is an obviously power-hungry elite with the charisma of a house centipede. I'm just amazed that so many people on this forum are A) Trump supporters and B) People willing to engage with Trump supporters. The parroting of his rhetoric and the utter abandonment of reason probably should've convinced you that they've given up on self-awareness and critical thinking long ago.

[editline]28th July 2016[/editline]
I can tell you right now I'll laugh my ass off if Trump wins.
You know I'm going to come in this sub-forum smiling ear to ear.
Nope, just noting the echo chamber SH is. [editline]28th July 2016[/editline] You know I'm going to come in this sub-forum smiling ear to ear.
when you ignore substantive posts to rail on about how you feel slighted, yes, it must
Nope, just noting the echo chamber SH is. [editline]28th July 2016[/editline] You know I'm going to come in this sub-forum smiling ear to ear.
The only echo chamber here is that cavernous space between your ears OH SNAP

That people shouldn't discuss things with people they disagree with?
Toxx if you're so sure, be a real man There isn't enough if Trump Loses/Clinton Wins
I toxx myself easily on this.
Nope, just noting the echo chamber SH is.
So you don't read what you post? You don't see anything wrong with what I quoted from you? Absolutely nothing??
So you don't read what you post? You don't see anything wrong with what I quoted from you? Absolutely nothing??
I stand my what I say.
What are you even trying to imply with this? That people shouldn't discuss things with people they disagree with?
No, that's fine. I'm just amazed people have the stamina essentially arguing at brick walls.
Nope, just noting the echo chamber SH is. You know I'm going to come in this sub-forum smiling ear to ear.
You were a bernie supporter who turned to Trump after the Orlando shooting because you were so scared of being shot by a foreign terrorist despite the shooter being american(additionally most shooters are always american citizens, so immigration laws don't mean shit to anyone, even if they're descendants from the Middle East), you even made a post about how you were wimping out until you heard a Trump speech and that somehow gave you courage and strength how can anyone take you seriously
