I would feel insulted if I were a Bernie supporter.
Can anyone who was tell me what it's like to see this shit? It's awful.
Like I got kicked in the teeth
what jobs
you mean outdated industrial & manufacturing jobs lol
you do realize that in 2016, it will always be cheaper to make shit overseas where they pay 15 cents in a shitty unstable building without any benefits whatsoever no matter how much tariff you tack on
oh and the tariffs you do tack on which they'll accept anyways, it goes to the consumers who pays for it?
every economist including the only one trump ever names: kudlow, has said its terrible idea
if you want a job instead of waiting behind lines, go to trade school or get a degree that can get you a job
the era of making shit is dead, we're a service economy
I. Want. A. Fucking. Job.
And no one is calling back.
I keep getting emails telling me I didn't get it.
There aren't any available jobs right now.
Where are the jobs then? Where are the fucking jobs? I've been searching for 3 and a half years now and I can't fucking find any!
bipartisan politics sickens me, it's just a toxic blame fest
You were a huge Sanders supporter before, what happened recently that made you go from far left to far right.
Bernie promised him a free education, and he got one.
Sanders got fucking slaughtered by that crowd, christ.
Sanders lost the election. I decided to instead of crying about it constantly and blindly hoping like some moron, to just look at the hand I was delt with and choose from there on which canidate right now would be better for ME.
I chose Trump. I choose him because Hillary is disgusting, and there ain't no other fucking options in sight.
Do you see Obama getting a sudden third term? No. Did Sanders flip the double birds and walk out? No he still stood there bowing his head down and saying "yes m'am" to the most disgusting person in modern history.
And I don't want to abstain because I'm not going to throw my vote away and sit at home doing nothing. I decided to throw all of the anti-trump bullshit to the side, and I gave him a solid chance for me.
I would rather vote for Donald Trump, than be some poor bastard from r/sanders4president, sitting in a pool of tears in the fetal position, telling myself he's gonna win somehow. Also how bad is this forum when people like you can't even respect someone's decision to change their mind on their own terms based on what they need from a President?
I'm not going to get into the Trump vs. Hillary for Bernie supporters shit again, but just one question: What were your opinions on the Benghazi 'scandal' before you supported Trump?
How are the audience going to respond to Bernie's pro-Hillary speech tonight?
I know my response.
I can't believe I voted for him in the primaries. Good thing I didn't donate.
I would feel insulted if I were a Bernie supporter.

Very depressing. Feels like an insult to my intelligence.
I do not know what candidate to support anymore. I am against everything Trump stands for. He supports bigotry and hate. On the other hand, Hillary is clearly corrupt. I don't know anything about the email scandal, nor have I been able to find any hard answers about it. I don't think I could support Bernie at this point, but probably would.
I can't even vote for Jill Stein, my backup plan, because I found out she isn't even an option in my state. This is my second election I have voted in in, and first presidential.
Watching the other elections when i was younger, I didn't think I would end up having to vote for someone I don't like at all.
The previous elections I have read about, and watched as a child, didn't seem to be this torn. McainvObama, they both seemed to be the same other than a few things. RomneyvObama were even more so the same. TrumpvHillary doesn't feel like "lesser of two evils" and more of status quo evil vs unknown evil.
I'll end up voting for Hillary in the end.
I'm expecting a riot to break out at this rate.
A riot breaking out compared to not a single incident happening during the RNC. That's going to really add more hurt onto the DNC. On top of everything else.
lots of BOOS eh

obviously the solution is to just start having a little baby tantrum until the jobs come back
man I can't understand why you aren't sailing to the top of the corporate ladder already
I would feel insulted if I were a Bernie supporter.

I knew who Bernie Sanders was before 2015 so I see a man who has consistently worked with the Democrats in the past working to defeat the worst candidate he has seen in his life.
Sanders lost the election. I decided to instead of crying about it constantly and blindly hoping like some moron, to just look at the hand I was delt with and choose from there on which canidate right now would be better for ME.

he accepted her as candidate because he lives in reality and not some sort of delusional fantasy world
he pushed the democratic platform to the most progressive one in history in a country that has always been historically conservative to center-right
he knows that even if he hates hillary, she has to work within the democratic party's platform. there is no reality where she fucking goes psycho rogue and plunge us to the dark age, because shes the face of the fucking democratic party and doing so will ensure republicans control the country for decades
cause he knows that he's opened the way for progressives to get elected and that the idea of subsidized education, universal healthcare, higher minimum wage, lgbtq rights, and etc. is no longer a fringe belief of dirty communists & socialists
cause he knows that after this election and after clinton, more progressives will be elected just like more conservatives & tea party took over the GOP
but if you want to undo everything that bernie worked so hard for and fuck over progressive policies ranging from gay rights, immigration, healthcare, and etc. by picking someone that is absolute opposite of trump because you can't see the bigger picture out of spite
then go ahead, but i wont respect your decision cause its fucking stupid

GOP is memeing, this is glorious.
I know my response.

Bernie Sanders got a lot of what he wanted out of the Democratic Party, through the policy pledges Hillary made and the Democratic manifesto. He has a huge range of support and has the future of the party in his hands after this election. He had no idea of the email leaks before he pledged his support.
You're basically saying that you're going to support a completely new candidate just because they're 'anti-establishment.'
Newsflash - Trump is the 1% and its entirely in his interest to serve that group. You simply don't matter to him. I feel awful that you've been out of a job so long, you don't deserve that.
But it's not down to the 'immigrants taking our jobs!' or trade deals.
It's down the men like Trump.
Keep your friends close keep your enemies closer ect ect

The Bernieboos are real. Lots of latent salt. Lots of pandering.

They're stoking the Bernie fires pretty hard with some of the speakers. This is not going to end well I suspect.
I ALWAYS STOOD FOR BERRRRRNIEEEE AND I will (definitely vote for Hillary pls dont get mad pls)
Unlike some people in this thread I won't. Just understand who you're voting for before you cast your ballot.

You missed Ayes winning because the chair wanted it to during voice votes.

its not coming back by someone that pays lip service rather than lay out actual policies
what are your skills, what did you major in, and etc.
that actually fucking matters now, thats the real world, you cant expect the simple manual labor jobs to continue to exist in an era of automation & ease of transport
It feels like being told a bunch of platitudes and bullshit to make me feel better about voting for someone I think is incompetent and corrupt.
Then don't. You are fucked either way, so vote for Stein if you're a hardcore liberal Democrat. Otherwise vote for centerist/Republican lite Johnson.
Our point isn't to win, I really don't think any third party candidate will win, but instead the goal is (or at least it should be) to make a political statement with our vote and push for electoral reform. We need that. We desperately need that.
if manufacturing jobs came back they'd just be fucking automated anyway
shit would be more expensive, the economy would suffer, and you wouldn't even get a fucking job out of it unless you know anything about engineering or computers. Which if you did you'd be able to find a job anyway.
I can't take this guy seriously after he blatantly lied about Bernie Sander's civil rights history.
The speaker is cracking to the audience
No PVP! No PVP!
The identity of the bernie campaign is anti-status-quo. At this DNC it just feels like its getting absorbed into a status quo thing. The rallying cry that distinguishes it will die out and turn back into the general dem v rep bs that has been around forever. The dem party isn't the 'party of the 99%' it is the party that tries to pander as if it is. If it were the party of the 99% then a person with over 50% disapproval wouldn't be on the fucking ticket.
This is one of the big reasons I'm going for Trump.
I can't take this guy seriously after he blatantly lied about Bernie Sander's civil rights history.
This guy was the most incompetent fuck during Comey's testimony on Clinton's emails. He tried turning the investigation into blaming the FBI for not investigating the deaths the BLM group focuses on.
