I find it very interesting how colors tend to symbolize characteristics or feelings in various cultures, but a lot of the meanings are context sensitive and the same color can have opposite meanings. You know, stuff like the color red being symbolic of love, beauty, confidence and assurance but also anger, heat, danger and war. Another example, blue has been described as a calm, relaxing, intelligent, safe, pure, trusting, and aristocratic, but also cold, depressing, unhappy, weak, passive, and rigid. It's strange how humans try to give meaning to various colors, some of which are plain contradictory.
I tend to like orange as my favorite color, and honestly I'm not 100% sure why. In some Christian texts it symbolizes gluttony, some "color experts" would say it symbolizes flamboyance or confidence (neither of which describe me). I think I like it because I perceive it as a warm, friendly, inviting color.

I actually really like the colour blue and that's why I'll never become a gold member
It sure is.

Roman Emperors liked Tyrian Purple, coincidence? I think not.

I will be waiting for you guys to accept the superiority of Tyrian Purple.

If white isn't a color then what is it
Really? Nobody else here is a fan of brown?
If white isn't a color then what is it
Tone/Shade/Albedo/Luminosity. Black or white is a pure figure of luminosity with a distinct absence of saturation of any particular color
It does sort of answer the question since "what's your favorite color" is more about appearance and personal preference, but it is a correct statement that white and black are not colors. Even from a color theory and design standpoint white and black are usually handled as a separate independent entity or just as a single dimension on a color gradient. If you buy a "blue car" that car will not be 100% blue, it will be primarily blue with some white/grey/black areas on it because color and de-saturated tones are usually used independently of one another and both are implied.
It's really semantics though, you could like white/black objects and like white/black paint on visual objects, so while they aren't technically colors they often do occupy the same area of personal preference, you'd just prefer an absence of color if you like white and black "color" choices.
Blue is love
Blue is life

It's an invisible color
I used to say blue but purple has slowly taken my favour.
Yeah, purple is one of my favourite colours nowadays. I just got a brand new purple jumper and it's fucking awesome. I won't lie, though; I 'need' blue more than I need purple. The sky's blue, water's blue... it's such a natural colour (and I think that's why it has a calming effect on people, because it's something that we're all used to in large quantities and it kind of a signifies that all is well and normal) and I'd be upset if it just went away.
I fucking love me some purple, though.
Purple master race
Teal is an acceptable race too

Sky blue master race.
If the world was this list of ten countries, blue would be its favorite color.
That graph has a super nice blue actually.
That's a terrible orange though.

I voted 'Disagree' on you, cause it's red... I love red. But I agree.

While I'm not particularly a fan of brown, I do happen to like looking at skintone-themed color palettes.
favorite colors often symbolize the persons' favorite emotions.
yellow preferentials are often more happy
red ones are angry
and blue ones are sad and ugly
Eggplant best color.

I painted my room orange once. That was interesting. Then I painted it blue. Now its a neutral cream color.
I like black the most because its the color of my soul
Look at all these mouthbreathers who don't like orange.
[T]http://v2media.ae/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Hall-Paint.jpg[/T]
For me, staring at the orange on the top right makes my eyes render the whole picture orange.
More so than orange however, staring at the red on the bottom left makes me see the whole thing as red.
It makes sense, blue is pretty much the most natural color. The sky is blue, water is sort-of blue which are basically two things you see the most of in everyday life. I imagine that's why blue clothing usually looks the most casual and why blue is one of the most common colors for cars.

Because they look stupid

I only use it as a joke, it's a silly and elitist word imo.

My with FP skin you're white members.

Meaning you're even closer to the bottom.
Red (not the #FF0000 a darker one like blood) and orange are tied for me, but I kinda like most colors specially when they are used as 'detail' in dark gray/black backgrounds.
Also, I can't deny that neon blue lights look awesome:

Green is best.
You can have it in any color you want as long as it is black.
