[sp]sorry guys[/sp]
edit: last one i swear
So you're saying that men CAN'T be abused? This guy has (from what we can see) been beaten and threatened by his wife for a long time, including with a knife.
This has to be trolling
because somebody's stating their opinion doesn't mean they're trolling.
tbh we don't really know much about the guy/fuckall/situation or what he eats for breakfast so it'd be great for the average facepunch detective to go find something better to do when their time rather than turning this into a shit-filled sex debate on the what-ifs what-nots, and how many pieces of toilet paper does he use when he wipes. it's a damn tragedy that his guy murdered his wife, and is probably mentally unstable.
Someone who was apparently beaten by their wife. Abuse can happen both ways.
If crimes of passion can be made by women, then why can't they be made by men?
So you're saying this guy:

Didn't save his wife's life ;(
can we all just sympathize for the murder of a human being by someone clearly unstable and in need of professional help, instead of talking about feminism for some reason or making fun of his bad books
I couldn't imagine the horror that would run through my body when I log onto Facebook to find photos of my friend dead.
if i remember correctly he wrote a digg article which was basically a cry for help and he had been considering killing his wife for awhile now to save his family and friends from any more damage
this chick was allegedly REALLY FUCKED UP and messed with him both physically and psychologically
sad to see it end so badly though
Well...bollocks..
It does, I saw a guy get banned for it in another thread.
Why am i reading everything you say in Morgan freeman's voice..
I agree abuse on both genders is bad but it doesn't justify murder then posting it on facebook
It's not clear how far the abuse went, he was in a marriage and many people believe that you're stuck with them once you get married, being legally split is something that not everyone agrees with either.
Perhaps the wife went too far, or perhaps the husband really was insane. We'll see when tests are taken. Until then we can't make any judgement concerning his mental health, not until we have foolrpoof evidence.

wow laferio you figured it out you deciphered my incredibly complex sarcasm congratulations
people who are mentally stable.
I don't know about you guys, but this guy sounds like he has a few screws loose.
He seems more casual about it than the joker.

Oh wow he's holding a gun guys lets shop him he was obviously not being abused by anyone look at how Alpha he is.
Man... it's not often I see someone in the news with the same name as me, but when I do, it always seems to be a murderer...
i'm sorry but i don't feel like this is a case of domestic abuse, merely because of the modus operandi. you don't take a picture of somebody you just murdered on facebook if you're looking for payback. he took that picture and posted it online to showcase his kill, it shows no emotional attachment, it shows no regrets, no hesitation, which is disturbing considering they were married. people who are sure they are guilty of no crime run, they evade persecution. people who are guilty and they know it do one of two things, commit suicide or willingly submit themselves to the police.

It shows that he was out of his damn mind.
It shows that he was out of his damn mind.
which kind of raises the question on how legitimate his claim that his wife was abusing him is, now doesn't it? his definition of abuse could be from something as mild of "killing me softly with indifference" to "she sent dragons into my mind and beat me up with fist rays". he's guilty of at least second degree murder, yet could potentially be so far gone to use an insanity defense to spare himself from a death sentence.
Just looking at his face makes me feel like he's totally pussy whipped.

Also, facebook addiction to post that all.

Looks more to me like he's apologizing and that he thinks his hands were forced. He's still clearly mentally unstable ofocurse.
here is the picture btw (nsfw):

-snip- Was late to pun.
I'm sorry.
I'm hesitant to assign blame to a victim of domestic abuse.
If he was abused by his wife, that doesn't justify him killing her, but it does explain it.
Even if literally nothing else, the guy's fucking nuts.
I reckon he probably posted on facebook because he was panicking and needed to tell people what he'd done, similar to how he turned himself in.
