I've tried drinking and marijuana. I half like the feeling, I don't like the feeling losing control of myself. So I'm planning and never doing either again.

Assuming Harper is voted out of power since he's the biggest opposition to MJ in canada, what are the chances of it being legitimately legalised, like no decriminalisation or anything, i mean full out legal? Actually it kinda is completely unfounded because the typical marijuana user is pretty much your average Joe.

I do love seeing these threads, it's just a good excuse to watch a bunch of assholes act like they're superior in some vague way. The majority reason people go there is to have fun, to go to a huge street party, it's quite an amazing event if not just to see that many people in one place breaking the law, the second reason is because it's a demonstration of desire and requirement of reform. Reform won't happen if no one knows there's a need for it. There's obviously a need for it when a city of 1.3 million can generate a consistent crowd of 10,000 plus people over the course of a day. Whether you like marijuana or not is really irrelevant, but large amounts of money is wasted to keep it illegal and prosecute people smoking it, what need is there to have it illegal?
