Im voting towards Dish network. when i worked for Best Buy a few years back, one of the Dish network people told me some crap about how they were treated, and how on Black Friday they all had to work 21 hour shifts.
Speaking as an employee of one of these companies i would love to see it loose. or win? whichever justifies my hatred.
They are all shit companies and should be damned equally. No ranked bullshit.
Ticketmaster for their damn little "Service Fees" so annoying, and THEY ARE THE ONLY PROVIDER FOR THE TICKETS, AND RESELLING THEM isn't allowed sometimes.
For those of you who want a nice link to all of the voting posts here you go. http://consumerist.com/tag/worst-company-in-america/
Walmart's on the list, yet Amazon isn't? You know, the company that manages to treat their employees worse than walmart but gets away with it because they hide it well? The company that will shut down chunks of itself to avoid having to pay the same taxes as everyone else? This whole contest is a huge circlejerk.
Only the full-time employees, of which it has about two. They intentionally hire part-time employees for as many of their positions as possible so they don't have to give them benefits. I know EA makes bad video game and apple ipad hipster iphone but the banks on that list are literally partly responsible for a financial collapse that destroyed the livelihoods of countless people.
Wrong I am part time and receive benefits
Google vs Facebook is up. You have 2:30 hours to vote. http://consumerist.com/2013/03/20/worst-company-in-america-round-1-google-vs-facebook/
fuck comcast and fuck their shit internet
I choose paypal for the winner. Paypal is convenient if you are a buyer but they fuck sellers over bigtime. But I don't have any experiences with the other american companies so I don't know if they are worse.

It seems like the only companies that would win this are the ones that are perceived as overpriced.
I've been waiting a whole year to vote EA again.
http://consumerist.com/2013/03/20/worst-company-in-america-round-1-google-vs-facebook/ A resounding defeat (victory?) for Google. They're gonna have to up the stink next year.
Interesting that Sallie Mae won over Paypal. I have student loans and pay them every month, and I've never heard a peep out of Sallie Mae. Paypal, however, pisses me the fuck off every time they arbitrarily gouge me on fees and withhold my Ebay money. I swear to god, between Paypal fees and Ebay fees I might as well take my shit to a fucking pawn shop. Also, LANDSLIDE VICTORY FOR FACEBOOK! Bwahahaha, fuck those people.
I don't get how DirectTV won (lost?) over Dish. I have DirectTV and I haven't had an issue with their service in such a long time. No outages, no issues with maintenance. They're not the best, but I'm fairly content with them.
