John Carmack is such a stereotypical nerd, I mean listen to his voice.
He's really cool though, the VR goggles he's making seem promising
Why 25 bucks? most downloadable games are $9.99 or $14.99, this is a ripoff.
Dude, the PS3 seperates it's processor unit into 8 "cell" processors, making game optimization difficult. Not to mention they cut the RAM in half so only 256 MB of actual RAM is going to the game while the other 256 is for "other" processes.
Nope, the PS3 has 256MB of main RAM and 256MB of VRAM, both are used for the game. the cell is actually a single core PPC CPU with 8 co-processors, one is disabled (for higher fabrication yields) and another is reserved for XMB.

Most downloadable games are casual shit knocked up in a couple of months
This is a re-release of a AAA title, there's no comparison.
I'm not defending EA by any means, but you have to keep in mind that PS3 is the hardest console to code for. Most games that are multi-platform almost always have issues from the start. Skyrim probably being the most famous of them all.
Because a lot of games rely on DirectX, Playstation only uses OpenGL.
