Damn straight
never before has an internet forum post consiting only of two words made me want to be sick
that joke was baaaad I had to do it to get it out of the way, otherwise everyone is going to have a field day with the puns
Really? I thought it was the GOAT
I mean what makes humans attracted to animals anyway?
To answer that I'd have to explain why every other fetish exists too, I don't have time, knowledge nor willpower for such a task.
There are always degrees though. I remember the reports of 'farms' where people paid to come and have sex with the animals there, and the reporters discovered the animals had been physically restrained, beaten, drugged etc etc just to let the people have their way with them. I call THAT abuse... What this fellow did with his goat, not so much. You've got to see past the outright stigma of animal sex and look at the actual physical actions of the person involved. I say he didn't abuse that animal, but clearly he broke the law. The sentence he was given seems overly harsh in light of that. That being said, it seems beastiality is on the rise in Kenya, so perhaps that's why they're laying down such strong sentences for anyone caught.
They lay strong sentences on sexual deviancy and witch craft, but not on theft for some strange reason. This extends to Nigeria too.
Well it is technically rape. So, he deserves the punishment I guess.
morally it's rape but legally it likely isn't, it's animal abuse though

Perhaps if you had actually read the OP you'd have noticed the part where he tied up the goat, thereby physically restraining it.
morally it's rape but legally it likely isn't, it's animal abuse though
Yes, and 10 years for animal abuse sounds fine to me. Animal abuse is one of the signals for people who have severe mental issues, and while the Kenyan justice system probably isn't too fit to rehabilitate him, keeping him locked up is the best they can do, better than letting him free on the streets anyway. It's really sad that our solution to crime is to just lock people up like this, I mean, it's better than killing them of course, but it still isn't right to keep them locked up with no rehabilitation.
sentenced to 10 years' prison
Jesus Christ. 10 years is ridiculously harsh for goat fucking. So he has a fetish for goats, who gives a fuck?
You remember that one time someone in Africa said "he just wants to fuck an animal, he's not hurting it, nothing wrong with that right?" Then suddenly, AIDS.
Why this is illegal, is beyond me. He caused no harm to the goat. They give love and companionship and ask for little in return but care and respect... Unlike humans.
"Unlike humans" my head exploded So are you justifying beastiality because animals are good and humans are bad
Expected this to come from the nanny state.
This is gunna be really weird but bare with me. it would be illegal to fuck a cow or a goat, but it's legal to kill it. But as far I know there's no laws against fucking slabs of meat. So is bestiality only legal if the animal is dead?
You remember that one time someone in Africa said "he just wants to fuck an animal, he's not hurting it, nothing wrong with that right?" Then suddenly, AIDS.
Bestiality didn't cause AIDS
Not that I would ever do it or associate myself with people who fuck goats, but can someone explain WHY bestiality is illegal?
Not that I would ever do it or associate myself with people who fuck goats, but can someone explain WHY bestiality is illegal?
Because it's animal abuse. How would you like it if you were a goat and some guy just comes up and sticks his dick in you.
Not that I would ever do it or associate myself with people who fuck goats, but can someone explain WHY bestiality is illegal?
It's illegal for a variety of reasons. It will cause harm for the animal It will might cause harm for the human It shows us that there's something terribly wrong with the human if he's resulting to fucking animals. Animals can not properly consent I could go on and on.
Congratulations on literally contradicting yourself within two sentences. Perhaps if you had actually read the OP you'd have noticed the part where he tied up the goat, thereby physically restraining it.
There's no need to be a dick about it mate, of course I read the article. In fact, I may have misread it - I took it as the goat being tied up but still grazing, not that it was a grazing goat that had been tied up - surprisingly big difference in interpretation there. Either way, I seriously doubt it's anything like what I was talking about. The animals I referenced were physically tied down (unable to move) and sedated, in such a way so that people could just file in and properly RAPE them as they saw fit. A very different situation to this I would happily wager. I still say the 10 year sentence is way over the top.
