Reading his thread, makes a lot more sense now. Goddamn. This dude is gonna single-handedly take down Trump's team.
Either way, he sure is draining the swamp... just not quite how he wanted/expected to! :v:
This was the plan all along to Make America Great Again. I'm getting a strange sense of dejavu...
That is just sad. What has the human race become?
i think its pretty straightforward really the human mind processes information in small parts so these tweets just feel so much more easier to process
Thank God something is finally happening
As with most things related to Trump and Russia, I expect much talk with little action; that is, allegations will be explosive and damning, but it won't be related to Trump and nothing will happen.
How embarrassing, Fox News is already attacking the 'Obama-appointed' judge in Manafort's case http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/10/30/paul-manafort-judge-who-is-deborah-robinson.html

So in the space of one day, we get Manafort being indicted, Papadopoulus having plead guilty 3 months ago, possibly having been wired since then and Manafort's lawyer just had most of the attorney-client privilege waived? Goddamn, what a fucking day!

(EDIT:) AND Trump's approval ratings are tanking to a record low - even before today's news: http://news.gallup.com/poll/201617/gallup-daily-trump-job-approval.aspx It's a Halloween Eve miracle!
As with most things related to Trump and Russia, I expect much talk with little action; that is, allegations will be explosive and damning, but it won't be related to Trump and nothing will happen.
You have to look at the bigger picture. We have no idea where this will end, but look at at where it began. This whole process started over a year ago having no connection to the president elect, and over a year we've managed to charge the former campaign manager with conspiracy against the nation. While it may take a long time, perhaps even longer than the full term Trump is probably going to serve, it's entirely possible that this will go all the way to the top.
Which makes the fact that he got to pick a SCOTUS judge that much more stupid, since they railed on Obama for trying to pick a judge while people were running for POTUS during the last election.
This is such an unprecedented corruption of federal function I could genuinely see the Republican Party getting so desperate to prevent itself from collapsing that the untainted faction agree to a bipartisan review of everything the Trump administration did and undid, including SCOTUS nominations. It's not something that'll happen instantly, especially not while the corruption is still in power, but if this situation is to resolve properly and faith in American democracy is to be restored, reconciliation is going to need to happen and accountability, regardless of political affiliation, must be enforced.

It means that a judge can compel Manafort’s lawyer to testify against him.
AND the military is not doing the Transgender Ban. It's a Halloween Eve miracle!
Well, of course! What would be a better time for the spooks in the shadow government Trump insists exists to play their hand than during a holiday dedicated exclusively to spooks and shadows?
What does having your attorney client privilege waived entail?

It means that a judge can compel Manafort’s lawyer to testify against him.
It was mentioned earlier in the thread but reminder that this is not a blanket waiver; Manafort sent two letters to the DOJ through his lawyer that contained falsified information. This means his lawyer is witness to federal crime and the pursuit of justice over these crimes is superior to Manafort's ability to claim client-attorney privilege over the drafting of those letters. The waiver does not permit testimony unrelated to the letters. Mueller can't just have a lawyer ask her about anything Manafort's ever said about Russia, Ukraine, or Trump. But that's still very significant because it means Mueller is firing off every single bullet he's prepared, and he isn't letting anything just slide to focus on "the real charges". He's intent on proving everything on his list.
In the aftermath, will Trump supporters still be in a state of endless denial? Will 30 percent of the population have logic skills on par with moon landing deniers? Because that's still a problem. The people are there and the method is proven. Who will be the next to exploit misinformation to rally the ignorant? The issues are far from over. This collusion is just a symptom.
if trump actually goes to jail they aren't going to give up, they're just going to blame it on the goverment/hillary/jews, thats really it. It's a metric ton of conspiracy theorists, and dealing with a conspiracy theorist is almost impossible because they'll always shift the blame to something else, no matter what you do. Not to mention the hatred won't disappear, there will still be a ton of people against muslims/blacks/jews regardless of what you do.
"Surveying" Sorry. Seriously though, this is great news. Seeing as Trump is too stubborn/stupid to resign in order to mitigate some damage, is administration will most likely be torn down, brick by brick, his policies won't get anywhere. And if they do, we might see the Republican party implode as a bonus. It might take more than a year, but I will eagerly watch every development regardless.
Yes, he wrote Mein Kampf in jail.
Could you imagine a fucking mein kampf 2.0 written by the walking fucking pumpkin that is trump :v:
My history is a bit rusty, but didn't Hitler go to prison and it was one of the biggest contributions to the Nazi party's popularity?
He did go to jail, but Hitler was pretty young when he did. A slob like Trump, at age 70, will not be able to handle prison well, especially at the lengthy terms his potential (and likely) charges carry. They don't even have gilded toilet seats! Dunno if it's why the Nazi-party became so popular though. I think it was a mix of many different things.
Big Wapo article on how Trump and White House staff responded to the news - not good
“The walls are closing in,” said one senior Republican in close contact with top staffers who spoke on the condition of anonymity to speak candidly. “Everyone is freaking out.”
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/upstairs-at-home-with-the-tv-on-trump-fumes-over-russia-indictments/2017/10/30/fd0d0b16-bd87-11e7-8444-a0d4f04b89eb_story.html
