Red Dead Redemption's Soundtrack Released On Vinyl Record

A lot of shit is still released on vinyl, why is this news
First of all the main appeals of vinyl is the sound quality and the large album art. Most people buying this won't have a hi-fi system to make it sound good and the album art is terrible.
reminded me of.
Analog is better than FLAC or 320kbs MP3's you are wrong.
As TH89 said, it's recorded digitally, thus it does not give any bonuses.
Time for the times to repeat. BACK TO THE 50'S GUYS!
I have a record player, but the needle is broken and I don't think they make the needles for the model of record player it is, and I don't want to dish out $200+ for some crummy DJ turntable used for sratching and not for playing.
Shame really, I wouldn't mind a collection of records.
Wow way to fuck it up and make vinyls appeal as "XD I ADD THIS TO GAMIN COLLECTION"
That is fucking ugly album art too, only a faggot would buy this.
why do your posts always suck ass
I dunno man, I heard that Vinyl is coming back...
It is actually. I see at walmart and other electronic stores they always have at least a couple brands of Vinyl players.
I have a combo CD/Vinyl/Cassette player. I got everything covered. It's good to see a market for Vinyl though, I mean it may look dated but it's a good sound. And if you like nostalgia too, but that's not the only reason.
Wish they'd port it to the pc already, damn.
can you say REMIX!
weekeh weekeh weekeh wee

most people don't even get the irony behind that comic
My keeps hoping vinyl comes back in style.
Every time he sees a player or a album he remarks "Oh I guess it's coming back in style, Good thing I kept my vinyl player!"
My family still has a record player with 70+ records or so. I hope to God records don't come back in, or else you'll have the ditzy bitches who'll think it's all new. I'm not trying to be all anti-mainstream and all, but dumb bitches BE crazy.
game wasn't that good, couldn't imagine wanting to buy the soundtrack
Most bands I know put their albums out in vinyl because its cheaper and yes vinyl is coming back.

no it's not. if someone's that strapped for cash, cd-r's are 50 for $10

Depends on where you get your vinyls done. The guys I know don't have the money to blow on vinyl just because its "cool" they do it because its what they can afford.

but its inefficient. You cant put vinyl on your ipod or computer. Nobody has a record player except for hispters, dj's, old people, and hipsters. Also I can fit infinitely more music in a 3.5" harddrive than I can on a record
My record player is just slightly off so it constantly plays at just a little bit higher pitch than it should, and it makes me so mad I don't even use it.
I don't have many records, anyway. ZZ Top - Eliminator, Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band - Stranger in Town, The Eagles - Hotel California, and a Pink Floyd collection.

I have a Dual 1219 record player, you callin' me a hipster?
On topic, I don't see the point of buying this vinyl, as TH89 said, it was recorded digitally, which throws the reason why you buy vinyls out the window.

Or old or a DJ. But most likely a hipster

Hi I own a record player because I collect vintage items
Not because I'm a hipster
I have a deck of complimentary playing cards from an American Airlines Ford Trimotor.
:colbert:
This just in: Historically important items solely for hipsters and old people, more at 11
This reminds me, I need to get my typewriter cleaned off and working again.
I own a record player and there's no way in hell I'm a hipster.

Coincidentally, some of my favourite records are the ones you just mentioned, although I only own Dark Side from Floyd.

almost everyone I know has a record player. You also should realize The music scene around here is generally 21+ so your looking at a majority of 30+ who still have records from when they were younger.
Its sad because my band played an all ages show and we had a few tapes and some of the kids were asking what the rectangles were.

Get to buying it then, faggot
There's not better depth of sound if it was recorded digitally, which it was.
There are plenty of albums mastered digitally and sound a lot warmer.
Its all about the mastering.
