I can't wait. I too am getting sick of modern war though.
You can only storm Normandy so many times before it starts to get tedious. Hell, when I even skip the intro scene to Saving Private Ryan now!
every building is a RAGDOLL
Chest paddle warrior
What's with all the love for this alleged CoD killer that doesn't have a single iota of information released pertaining to it?
I was hoping for a Bad Company in WW2, with atleast 64 players

Because all Battlefield games are awesome.

Because generally a sequel to a game many people loved is highly awaited? Seriously why would you even ask that
I need a new computer :crying:

Jesus Christ another Modern Day "Tacticool" FPS? fuck this, I'll be playing Planetside:Next. BF2142 was awesome, shame they went the modern route.

good i dont think any of us care
It's about time.
I would really like Alternate History BF. Like Battlefield 1962. Not Vietnam, Cold War. Or 1989. That would be awesome. With extra commander options like NBC weapons.
Make it possible to parachute from 2 feet above the ground.
Radio in vehicles.
Make it possible to constantly spawn kill people with jet or helos.
Give horrible black hawk controls so everyone crash head first into the ocean.
I want to be able to shot team mates in the back and steal their jet, then have a internal fight with the team mates for the rest of the map.
I want to be commander of the battle and only help my own squad mates and don't give a fuck about the rest.
I want 64 player matches.
I want a remake of Gulf of Oman and Strike at Karkand "with jets".

BF did it first
That's a tad different. It's a guy standing in the middle of a letter. While similar, the other ones share more commonalities.

They've already announced BF3 is a sequel to BF2.
Plus you can clearly see it's modern weapons in the teaser picture there.

reinstalling bf2
I hope they keep BF2's helicopter controls/mechanics instead of the shitty simplified flying of BC2
They've done WWII, Vietnam, modern age, and the future. What are they going to do?
some of which perfectly detailed in the picture posted 5 seconds before my post
Adding onto the alternate history version, I would love maps that are inventive and really test the players, some are more balanced to one side. Like Soviets have advantage on the ground, NATO in the air, and the US excluding NATO on the sea.

I hope they can prevent idiots from using sticks against it. Always get lit on fire because some guy is butt hurt that he didn't get his teradactyl...
it can't be worse than turok's pterodactyl controls

That would be great, if the game implemented a good way to have the players learn the peculiarities of both sides that lead to a balanced correlation of forces.
