I hope they keep BF2's helicopter controls/mechanics instead of the shitty simplified flying of BC2
this so much i mean the best thing about BF2 was if you could fly a chopper you were a fucking pro! in BC2 it was too easy to pilot.
also new pc all up in this bitch!
and i'd like them to made a Medieval Battlefield Game!
'Medal of Honor was also DICE setting it's sights on Call of Duty...and we all know how well that worked out LOL'
Ahahah
Now I have something to look forward to in the next year or so game-wize.
Fuck yes, even though i could not fly helicopters for shit in Bf2 (Mostly ended up upside down) I hope that they bring the controls back.
Don't you know, only the pros can successfully fly a helicopter upside down.. into the ground.
Project Reality for BF3? Hell yes.
I've seen people fly perfect upside down :crossarms:
I hope for the love of god that DICE will use a different anticheat. Punkbuster is useless and makes the game more difficult to enjoy.

I hope they have in game radio. I mean how cool would it be to hear say Def Leppard or Van Halen while driving a Humvee and having the gunner shoot shit
oh wow i've just learned about patch 1.5
dice is amazing :3
They need to get back to their roots and make a WW2 battlefield game, it's been too long since 1942. Modern age is getting boring as fuck.
I never would have thought to agree with this several years ago, but I certainly do now, I almost miss when world war 2 games were oversaturated as fuck, now it's all Uber US Western Army versus Random Terrorist Bad Guys with AKs or russians.
The axis and allies were at least a whole lot more interesting.
Yeah you know if BF3 was WW2 the next call of duty would also be a return to ww2. Then Medal of Honor (although they'd probably go back to ww2 regardless seeing how terrible their modern war one was)
I've seen people fly perfect upside down :crossarms:
I am god at flying upside down. BF 1943 is nice :)
Oh and OT, BF2 had the best helicopter controls yet.
someone needs to remake dinocrisis 1 and 2
Please DICE, don't disappoint.
I've been waiting almost 6 years. God damnit don't mess this up, DICE!
someone needs to remake dinocrisis 1 and 2
dino crisis 3 was the best it had a spaceship with dinosaurs
The thing I loved about battlefield games (aside from the oversimplified bad company games) is that you feel like you can do anything you want. You don't have to fight the same people over and over again because of the damn spawn point as you can pick another half way across the damn map (and you're help), up is an option when running away or attacking, the attack can come from anywhere, and there are plenty of places to hide. I mean hell, I remember in battlefield 2 climbing up a crane to get away from a helicopter, then as it got to the top jumping on top of it and on-to the other crane facing it, all while C4ing the helicopter. How many games can you do that in where it's not scritped? Only the battlefield series.
Welp, time to throw Black Ops in the shredder.
If there is a EU/NATO coalition, could we focus on specifics? I hate how its like lolp here you go.Having multiple countries would be cool like UK v. Iran. Something like that.
DICE's last hope, better be breath-taking
No need to retread old territory. Something like Korea is good and it's been rarely used as a setting.

I mean there's like only 9 games set in Korea compared to the hundreds of WWII games out there!
Its the forgotten war for a reason. If we do World War II, I wanna do it from the German perspective for fucking once.
They've done WWII, Vietnam, modern age, and the future. What are they going to do, Battlefield: 1917?
You sit in a trench for 3 weeks.
Rats eat your food while you sleep.
A shell lands in your trench.
It was filled with chlorine gas.
Respawn in 10 seconds
And? Most of Modern combat is:
1. Driving up a road checking the surrounding area for anything suspicious
2. Patrol
3. Sleep
4. Patrol
5. Minor shoot and run attack by mini militia group
6. Patrol
7. Eat
8. Patrol
9. Destroy spotted IED
10. Last but not least, PATROL

It's far from forgotten dude. Sounds like you just want to see developers pick the "cool" stuff over everything else. Besides, WWII is very much overdone.
I will never like the gameplay of any Bad company game as much as I enjoyed playing single player BF1942. I couldn't give a shit about online if I don't get to play against bots on ALL the maps.
What I loved about BF2 was being allowed to go high as fuck in jets and helicopters, and the ability to fly helicopters very well. These include hovering around a target quickly while having the nose aimed at a capture point, and of course being able to do donuts sideways and barrel rolls to avoid TV missles and J-10s

From Allied perspective. And it is the forgotten war, dude you actually go over it in any of your history classes in depth? I know mine did it because right around the corner is Vietnam and the Beatnik movement so everyone tends to ignore it. I'm not making up the phrase, it is called "The Forgotten War".

What I mean is that the term shouldn't be taken too literally that people intentionally skip over it because they believe that said war has no significance to be depicted in any form of media. In fact Korea needs more exposure in modern media, along with anything else like the Six Day War, Rhodesia, and all the conflicts that Western culture skips over.
