Israel’s government wants a controversial law that would deny equality to Arabs

How the fuck can anyone see this shit and still be like "Yeah Israels good!" im not including the actual good people, seems far more that the government is fucking everything up.

But seriously guys, this is fucking WW2 Hitler type shit in the early days. Its fucking bad because this is where it STARTS. Anyone that knows some history of WW2 and Nazis knows that they didnt just group in mass and started gunning down jews/gays/whoever in the streets, it was a slow but steady process.

First it started with prejudice and a dislike. Then came stuff like shunning people. Now the police are focusing a bit more on a specific group of people. Slowly rights started to change, then rights started to get lost. Germany citizens were finding themselves to be much lesser in the eyes of Germany than their neighbors. Then you had SS knocking at your door, and before you knew it, people in your town were starting to disappear or taking in for questioning and you found yourself labeled due to your ideology or sexuality or even just how you were born.

I really dont think I need to go on. This is how this shit starts and has probably been going on a lot longer than I realized in Israel.

For 1 second apply this Israel logic to America or like any first world country, imagine if the American Government passed a law saying minoritys had less rights, regardless of being a citizen or not.

What do you think would happen? I can tell you, an entire country revolt, shamed by the UN, probably a massive global protest. It would go down in history as one of the worst things to happen in the 21st century. It would be a HUGE violation of just basic human rights, let alone citizen rights.

So why the fuck does no one care that much when Israel does this? A country AMERICA fucking backs? They sound like the most unamerican people in the fucking world with this type of shit.

Why the fuck does ANYONE support them? Like im sure American top officials who deal with Israel relations know this goes on, I dont see how they couldnt? So are we just doing deals with the devil until we dont need to? Or are we actually supporting them?

Meaning that what the cabinet agreed to is a mostly declarative law that only serves to officially define Israel as the Jewish national home, something that has been true since Israel's declaration of independence.

And again, despite all that the members of this coalition government still have such huge disagreements over this law and other issues that they dissolved the government starting tomorrow.

But yeah, in its original form it was a vile fucking law, which political analysts think means it was presented as such intentionally by Netanyahu to fuck with the coalition and get them to quit because Netanyahu wants elections for some reason.
