The 70 years of brainwashing has made sure that those that actually know how things truly are can no longer speak up due to the majority of the population and especially its leaders truly believing in their ideology and what is taught to them. Unless there is some crazy foreign undermining going on, DPRK is a lost cause. Honestly the best we can hope for is China annexing them, since they are the only country that the people of North Korea are taught to see in a good light.

EDIT: I'm just sick of every other thing I read being torture, death, torture, death, rape, torture, death, rape, rape, threats, torture, death.
